The food here is truly exceptional. We have become regular customers because we have never been disappointed with the dishes that we have ordered till now. We have tried a wide variety of dishes including Pad Kee Mao, Pad See Ew, Pad Kra Pao, Yellow Curry, Avocado Curry, Tom Kha Soup, Tom Yum Soup, Lampang Heritage Khao Soi and in appetizers – Shrimp Tempura, Crab Rangoon, Chicken Pot Stickers, Pineapple Fried Rice and Basil Fried Rice. Every single dish has been so flavorful, well-prepared and absolutely delicious.
The iced butterfly pea lime drink was a standout with a perfect balance of sweet and sour flavors. In desserts, the Fried Banana Spring Rolls served with ice cream and caramel are crispy, delicious and incredibly satisfying.
The staff is very friendly and welcoming and are always kind and attentive. They also have a virtual dish display screen which showcases the food they serve and that makes it easy to know what to expect and helping first-time visitors choose from the menu.
Lana Thai is a gem in Beaverton for authentic, flavorful Thai cuisine. Highly recommended for anyone craving delicious Thai food.
I came to Lanna Thai a sad husk of a human and left feeling stronger than 7 men, I felt my spirit open a third eye to a level of heaven inaccessible to humans outside of transcendence in the moments just before sentience and perhaps approaching death. Like knowing the kind of love you haven’t felt since before your step dad ruined Christmas and your mom still looked at you like someone she’s proud of. I dont know, there’s a lot of emotions in that first bite. I tried not to cry but the tears help you get through the 3rd and 4th bites where the knowledge that your grandma will never be as cool as whomever is responsible for creating the chef at Lanna Thai starts to sink in. Also the service is astoundingly kind.
I haven’t looked but if there are bad reviews of this place not only are they wrong, they’re stupid and mean. Anyone who gives this place a bad review is the kind of person that wakes up needing a place to stuff their hate. You know the self important kind who thinks black pepper is spicy and orders their margaritas blended at some chain restaurant in a mall parking lot because it makes her feel fancy.
Anyway um yea eat here, unless youre a loser. 10/10 reccomend.
A NOTE ON RESERVATIONS: As of Feb 2026 you MUST CALL to get a reservation. The online reservation system will technically allow you to book, but it is non-operational and the restaurant will not know you’re coming. You need to call.
We showed up for our Friday night date on-time for the reservation we booked through the restaurant’s website, but the waitress/hostess informed us that it does not work.
She calmly and thoughtfully explained the situation and stopped what she was doing to make sure she could squeeze us in without a wait. She was also the only one serving the entire restaurant and we give her so much credit for getting creative and making sure the restaurant honored our reservation while handling a bunch of other tables flawlessly. Thank you!!
We loved the service and the food, and I hope the team is able to figure out their online booking system or update the website to tell folks to book over the phone. That way others just trying to have a nice night out don’t have to take this same gamble.
The food here is made with care and actually has so much flavor. Unlike most restaurants you’ll notice the quality in their food.
It was hard for my wife and I to find a quality Thai restaurant since we moved here. Lanna has won our vote with continued proven quality and kindness.
