Ok service, have came to this place a few times but experienced something horrible yesterday. We ordered oysters and noticed there was a few sludge worm on the bottom of the plate. When I told the waitress she apologized for the experience we went thru and offered more oysters which I denied right away and was shocked when she said the cook advised the oysters weren’t washed properly and that why there was parasites on them. This is unacceptable. I Will not be coming back and will submit pictures to and complaint to IDPH. Don’t think this restaurant knows the severity of what food poisoning can do to some people.

Went last night for Valentine’s Day with my mom . Thought the place was cute, wanted to try something new. Regardless of my skin color I would expect to be treated like any paying customer. Service was a 0/10. He came to the table a single time. Waited about 30 minutes for an appetizer that had obviously been left sitting on the food line. The busser had been leaving dirty towels on our table all night even when we were finally eating our food. 45 minutes into eating I asked for the bill and nobody came to the table. I went to ask the hostess but she simply shrugged her shoulders. When I did finally get the bill , a 15 percent gratuity was already included, which would have been fine if I seen the server for the night more than 1 time. I was chased through the restaurant because one of the servers thought I hadn’t paid my bill. I will not mention the color of my skin out of respect for my self. Worst experience of my life. Will never ever be back.

Loud and crowded but food is worth it. BYOB so we brought our beer to make a michelada, they provided the Clamato mix. I got octopus ceviche and prawns. My girlfriend got the mar y Tiera. Both excellent and very hefty portions. Love it. Place gets crowded and there’s bands playing loud music but adds to the Mexican style and experience. Highly recommended. Not a lot of waitresses for the size but they did a great job within reason.

$60 for the basically empty large platter. As soon as we picked it up we questioned the girl at the front desk which then laughed off our question and sent us away. The amount of food for the price was a STEAL. They barely put in anything. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TAKING YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE .

Servers took forever to take orders and bring out the food. Even then, they got the orders wrong and refused to correct them blaming us for saying the wrong thing? People selling bread and the musicians asking for money came up to us more than any server did. Seafood actually tasted old and bland. I’m sorry to say the only good thing I tasted were the fries. Honestly, none of the prices are worth it. I would never come here again or recommend it to anyone else.

We walked in and they were slow to seat us even though there were plenty of tables. We ordered and received our food promptly but my girlfriend’s order was wrong. My food order was correct but unfortunately it lacked flavor. I didn’t even finish half. Overall the visit left much to be desired, I was unimpressed and gratuity was applied automatically. Save your money and go elsewhere.
