The ambience is warm and intimate, and service was attentive without being intrusive. A charming French bistro that delivers both quality and atmosphere. Highly recommended for special occasions.
The steak frittes were tasty, but we did find the texture to be soft, yet chewy, as if a tenderizer was used. The fries were superb.
We enjoyed the apple tart, which was on the thin side, better than the banana sabayon.
Service was quick and we were out within 45 minutes.
I just love their Bouillabaisse. Was a bit disappointed to see a different dish with the same Bouillabaisse sauce. But this was still very well-made.
My husband loved their steak though he said it could be smokier.
Any scallops paired with any kind of bacon or sausage is an instant win for me. Loved their scallop and chorizo starter.
Chocolate lava cake was very obviously made with high quality chocolate.
The appetiser selection which was a choice of escargot, or raw oyster or pork rillettes. And we had all 3 and they were really tasty and flavourful.
For main course, we enjoyed steak frittes; good portion size and perfect doneness
Dessert was tasty but could be more generous. Overall well worth the visit.
Execellent starter of escargots and main course tenderloin steak with fritters were delicious but their desserts were off mark.
