I visited Lane bar and Grill today during my fieldwork around eastern Kansas. I stopped in for a burger and a beer had a great bunch of talks with the locals and learned quite a bit about the history of the town.
This bar is pretty cool because passerby’s can autograph the ceiling so I did! For $20 I got two cans of beer plus a cheeseburger and fry basket with enough to take home for later.
Lots and lots of seating all throughout the bar, plus there’s outdoor seating too – sheltered. Plenty of parking!
Kelsey served me and she was very polite, very friendly and helped me with obtaining some historical information about Lane plus another lady I talked with at the bar brought me a book which I am pictured with.
It’s a great bar and I’ll definitely visit again someday!

Has the atmosphere and mood of the local tavern. We stopped in for the fried pork tenderloin steak with tater tots and the yeangling beer on tap. They have an outside screened in area that would be nice in warmer weather. Lots of free parking.
