The food is very good. I’ve always wanted to stop here and we finally did. The all you can eat crab was $75 per person, so we opted out. I got the oysters Rockefeller and the stuffed mushrooms. The mushrooms were the best I have ever had! I’d never had the Rockefeller to compare, but it was good. They have some very unique cocktails. My husband got a meal that included bread pudding. It was incredible!

We had a nice birthday dinner for our son and his family here. The seafood was generally good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It appears that this restaurant is part of chain begun six decades ago in Louisiana, but I have to note that I didn’t find the dishes strongly reminiscent of that part of the country. Good? Yes… but from Louisiana? Not that I would have noticed. Maybe if I had tried other, more adventurous dishes. My son, the birthday boy, did enjoy his seafood platter with bianca topping. My wife loved the calamari. But she always loves calamari, so that may not be helpful in this context!

What was best, however, was that there was plenty of room for our fifteen-month-old grandson! It’s true that we visited at a less-busy time, but the layout of the restaurant is so spacious that we would have been comfortable even during a busier period. Our grandson was able to walk (or toddle), hand in hand with each of us in turn, and without bothering other patrons or getting in the way of the staff. He enjoyed looking at the fish mounted on the walls. He loved his crab cake and shrimp, too.

Rolando was a great server! I would ask for him again. Drinks came out quickly, loved the house dressing on the salad. I ordered the shrimp trio and my boyfriend ordered the IPA fish and chips. I wish the menu was more descriptive about what sides came with the dishes – the trio came with broccoli (which I DO NOT and CANNOT eat), and my boyfriends came with crispy onion straws, which he does not eat. The food itself was good – the fish and chips portion was huge! We might be back to try something different – but all in all, it wasn’t too bad for seafood in Colorado.

Ate here on Memorial Day, so the place wasn’t crowded. Service could have been a little faster. We ordered the Carb, Spinach and Artichoke Dip and loved it. By far was the best item of food. We also ordered Steamed Mussels and were disappointed that a number of them tasted spoiled. For dinner, I ordered the Coastal Seafood Pasta and again was disappointed as two of the four mussels on plate were spoiled. I expected better from a restaurant that prides itself in seafood. The drink menu had a number of delicious looking cocktails. I’m hoping for better food if I go again.

Parking: plenty of parking at 430p when we arrived, but when we left at 545p it was getting pretty full. There are 2 parking lots though.

Atmosphere: your typical boathouse decor. Has an old bldg smell to it that seemed to bother our 8 yr old LOL

Staff: everyone will came into contact with was very nice and helpful with any requests we had.

Food: we really enjoyed the food, looking forward to going back and trying other menu items

Green Salad w/garlic bread – the salad came with our meal and we got the house dressing (honey mustard balsamic vinaigrette). The dressing has a kick to it bc of the vinegar, but very tasty. The garlic bread is complimentary.

Kids menu – shrimpkens; fried shrimp, chicken tenders and choice of side (fries, seasonal veggies, OR rice). Strawberry Banana Smoothie for an additional $2.

Southern fried fish – lightly breaded fried fish over onion strings and topped with chips

Coastal Seafood Pasta – angel hair pasta, shrimp, baby scallops, mussels in an amazing cream sauce. We liked the sauce so mucho we drizzled it on the fried fish

Ladies Restroom – it was visually clean. The large bathroom stall had a busted, scratched up looking toilet seat, but clean for the most part. It also has a child changing table in this stall.
The individual stalls seemed to have newer toilet seats. But visually clean as well.
This review was a necessary as I typically DO NOT use public restrooms, hopefully this was helpful to someone

They offer a military discount which is a big plus for us!

Would we go back? Yes, definitely!!

All you can eat crab legs is always a great idea. The crab is pretty good and they have Old Bay to season it up with, however, we had to ask for the Old Bay to put on the crab. The hush puppies are very good and come with grits cooked right.

We also ordered oysters rockefeller. They we’re really good oysters, but we’ve had better rockefeller. The meals come with a salad of your choice and garlic bread. The bread could have used a bit more garlic and butter, but was quality bread.

The service is good and the employees are very nice. Great atmosphere and awesome mural on the walls.

My first time to the Denver area and I see a sign for a 20 dollar steak and lobster special. I was intrigued and gave it a shot. I wasnt disappointed. But what was even more surprising was the awesome happy hour menu. Lots of food and drink selections to choose from that all looked great.
Next time I’m in Denver I’ll definitely come back.

Food was great had some issue. I travel so I eat alone so I’ll go to the bar to eat instead of a table or booth. So I looking at the bar when I enter looked as people had step away and coming back. Bartender didn’t clear away and clean bar. I found a seat and had to ask if someone was still occupying empty seat. Cutlery was dirty and they are slow to clear away finished dishes at the bar! Other than these issues meal was find!

The shrimp cocktail is very good, and I liked the wedge salad. Our waitress was always there when we needed anything. I could even set my empty glass of ice tea down, and she was right there with a refil. Enjoyable stop for us.
