My husband wanted to go here for the turtle soup they got, which he loved cause he’s been telling everyone about it. I got the crab platter which was great! So much delicious food.

Had the seafood platter and WOW! Compliments to the chef. The BEST fried shrimp I’ve ever had! Oysters, stuffed crab, stuffed shrimp

My wife and I stopped in for dinner on Wednesday. We both agreed that our dinner at Landry’s was the best seafood we had on our trip to Louisiana! Very friendly waitresses on top of it!

We drive for 45 minutes to eat there. One of our favorite restaurants. Eaten there several times. This day they were very busy and short handed. The only table we found open was still dirty. No crackers, ketchup or napkins. It took awhile (10 minutes) for the waitress to come take our drink order and clean table. We told her then about no crackers, napkins, ketchup and, this time, no silverware. She came back later with our drinks and take our order. Still didn’t get crackers, napkins, ketchup or silverware. A little while later she came back and said they were out of French fries. My husband had to change his order. After we realized that the waitress was so busy to worry about us, my husband got up and got the napkins, ketchup and silverware himself. No one asked if we wanted refills on drinks or how was our food. We love this place and have eaten there several times, but this visit was not good.

Visited this restaurant while on a road trip in April. Small town Louisiana style restaurant. Serves beer, has a limited salad bar, serves typical LA fare- po-boys, gumbo, seafood platter, alligator, ect. This place has a laid back, enjoyable atmosphere. As with most restaurants these days, the wait staff was limited. There was one waitress, however she did an excellent job considering the number of patrons in the establishment. She was attentive and courteous. The only concern was the po boy bread- it was like a hot dog bun, never had a po boy like that, call it a unique flair. Give them a try!

A must see for travelers. Bayou culture at it’s best. Locals eat here. We like the noon lunches. Seafood platters need to up grade.
