Landmark Family Restaurant

Yesterday January 27th was mine & my husband’s first time eating here. We had a great experience yesterday and the waitress was awesome. Yesterday’s experience was a five star one that I would’ve left on here but today- not good at all. Two different groups of people who were seated at booths next to us about 5 minutes after we already were seated and had put our food orders in had received their food WAY before we did. By the time we got our food finally the two groups of people next to us were already finishing theirs and left to pay not even 5 minutes after we got our food. My western omlette I ordered came without the white toast so I had to tell the waitress and the hashbrowns were so burnt and so bad I took one bite and left the rest on my plate unlike yesterday they were perfect and I finished everything on my plate. The hashbrowns tasted like plastic is the best way to describe it. On top of that the waitress we had today kept going to the tables next to us making sure they had whatever they wanted or needed and it took her over 5 minutes to get my husband a refill. Mind you- we’re sitting right across from where the soda fountain is and she’s just giving good service to everyone else but us. Yesterday we never had any issues at all as our first time. This being our second time and only a day later was not good. Consistency is very important in my eyes when you have a restaurant and there was none of that today. I am pregnant and was so upset and frustrated I didn’t say anything. I didn’t ask for a manager or say anything to the waitress and looking back I should have. I may call and leave a complaint as well because of how disappointing this was. I felt embarrassed by the lack of service which is why I said nothing. I didn’t want to draw any attention to us but all I can really say is I hope if we do come again that we can have the waitress we got yesterday because she was the best! And to the other staff and owners- please do better with your consistency. We had no issues waiting for our food or waiting to be seated until we saw everyone who came in way after us and after our food orders were placed that they left after around 5 minutes after we got our food. Totally disappointing. We are good people and good customers who don’t mind waiting for good food and good service but not when we have service and food like today. I would attach a photo of my burnt hashbrowns but the waitress came and took the plate right as I was about to take a photo of them.

This is a friendly, family Restaurant that is open for breakfast & lunch only!
The prices don’t break the bank! A breakfast for $ 5.17 (2 eggs & toast, & I get water)!

The food is great, coffee fill ups & place for 14 people if need be for a special occasion.
If you have a large group come early to request for that amount.
Usually you can get a table in about 5 minutes.

Got the philly quesadilla from the specials board other Guest got the blue cheese burger. Appetizer was also very yummy – got the clam strips.
Portion big enough to eat in and still feel good or take some home

Came here for breakfast. I had the country style Benedict with home fries. It was really good. Sausage gravy was excellent. The home fries were good too, they had crispy parts that I like. Staff was friendly. It was very clean. The only negative is the music they have playing. It is instrumental music that you would hear on hold, or in an elevator. It wasn’t too loud but it seems like an odd choice.

Nice, locally-owned, family restaurant with great service, clean atmosphere, very good food and reasonably priced!

I had a simple bacon and eggs breakfast (didn’t have a lot of time) but the service was very quick and the waitress was very attentive, always making sure my coffee mug was full!

Observations suggest there are a lot of “regulars,” but there’s always room for newcomers!

Really hungry, I ordered the hash & eggs (3). I requested the over easy eggs be put on top of the hash so I don’t break them moving them there and I asked for a generous amount of butter on my toast. Neither one happened, must not be a place that likes, listens or cares about requests and that is ok, now I know.
