I debated on posting this review but I can’t help but share good places! Lancaster’s is such a great place, I feel it injustice to call it a hole in the wall with all their regulars and packed parking lot when I drive by! My boyfriend and I sat in the bar area, that is seat yourself. The space is actually quite large with a formal dine in area, a bar area, a pickup spot for to go orders and even an outside spot to eat during good weather. They also have booster seats and high chairs. Service was great, our bar tender was lovely and you can tell she cares about her regulars just by the few that popped in. Bar was immaculate and the Long Island Iced Tea she made us was even better! I had the build your own platter which is two meats two sides. I got the wings and tenders, they have a fried chicken I wanted to do but that’s a 30min wait and we had to go get the baby so we needed something quick. My boyfriend got the pork dinner which came with two sides so he got collards and Mac and cheese and a side of bread. Everything came out rather fast. Only reason this wasn’t all five stars is because unfortunately my wings weren’t really sauced but for the sauce u could taste it was good. The collards were under seasoned as well. It was a good experience, we will definitely be back.

This visit was honestly heartbreaking.
Lancaster’s BBQ in Huntersville has gone from hero to zero. We hadn’t been in about 8 months, and walking in felt like a ghost town. The dining area was nearly empty, and we had to track someone down just to get service. Most of the staff was gathered in a corner talking while customers waited.
The wait staff was unprofessional and sloppy, and the overall service was terrible. The food was just blah—nothing close to the quality this place used to be known for.
I attached a photo because it truly made me sad. This restaurant used to be packed, full of energy and great service, and now it feels empty and neglected. You can feel the difference.
Things clearly changed when Steve left, and unfortunately, it shows. Bring back the old staff, the pride, and the standards that made this place great.
We definitely won’t be back, and that’s not something I ever expected to say about Lancaster’s.

Best BBQ in Lake Norman! Had a wonderful experience here Saturday with my family! We were a large group and even though they were busy they got us a table no problem! The service was great! The food was great as well! Everyone had a good time! This was the 1st time any of us had been here and I have to say we enjoyed ourselves immensely!

The restaurant is this cute little place that you just wouldn’t expect to get such good food. The spicy chicken is highly recommended! This little spot is definitely worth a visit!

Atmosphere and service were great, the food unfortunately did not match their quality. The A/C was on full blast when we came in and we were sat right under the fan, which wasn’t great but it didn’t impact the experience too much.
The barbecue was flavorless, beyond pepper and cayenne. We drowned it in the provided bbq sauces and even that couldn’t save it. The onion rings appeared homemade, but the battered coating was not good (as reported to me by the gf).
The fries, mustard slaw, and Mac n cheese were good.
Looks are deceiving, at least. I barely finished my plate and she got 75% through hers, it was a lot of food.

This place is a JOKE. Nothing is fresh. The fries are frozen, their mashed potatoes are from a box, and they sell you the DRIEST
barbecued pork in the state of North Carolina. It looked undercooked – it had these gross bright red spots throughout. Praying we don’t get food poisoning… the food was so bland and greasy. Ended up paying over $30 for two people and left most of the food uneaten. Service was nice, but that’s the only positive. Stay far far away.

Love coming here! Been here a bunch of times and like always, the food is delicious, and service is outstanding! I look forward to coming back again soon! Highly recommend pulled pork! I can’t get enough of the vinegar that goes with it! Lancaster’s BBQ never disappoints!

Went after a soccer game. Have been a few times. Plenty of seating. Dining room was dark. Sat the 5 of us no problem. My father-in-law was in a motorized wheelchair. No major issues.
Quickly ordered. Food took a little bit but it came out hot. Everyone enjoyed their food. I drink a lot and need a refill 5-6 times a meal. I had to ask for refills.
Overall a good experience.

Dear 8lb 6 oz Baby Jesus take the Fork ! This is the BEST food I have ate while in town working and I have ate everywhere. It may be my new favorite BBQ spot in all of North Carolina its def a top 3. Everything was FRESH… HOT and exactly as I ordered. The Pork was excellent the Chicken was super moist and the hushpuppies are out of this world good and my server Nicole was GREAT! I hate we got yalls streets blocked trimming powerlines and its a pain in the ass but Im so glad we came to this town and hope were in the area in the near future because I know where I will be having lunch every day they are open. Yall are Killin It !!! Keep up the Great Work. (Sry no pic of the huspuppies) my tongue was beating my lips to death for more til they were gone.

Food is amazing! We got fried pickles and barbullo wings to start. Very yummy! Then they gave us hush puppies and those were great too! Beans were my fav! Service was amazing, we had a big group do props to them for the great service!
