We ordered delivery 2 nights in a row while staying nearby. Online ordering was easy but customizing things wasn’t (example removing onions from a sandwich or adding bf mushrooms to a pizza). Delivery was quick though and food arrived warm. Our large orders were correct both times and they had called us once because they were out of something and make accommodations for it. My club was good, fries are fine, pizza okay, garlic bread and grilled cheese were excellent. So maybe not the best ever but for what we needed, it was just right. Also prices were mega reasonable.

My friend and I were up visiting from New York, and stopped here due to the other place in town not accepting cards. Safe to say, we had a fantastic meal. We split a Greek pizza, and some disco fries. (way better than poutine) It was easily the best pizza we’ve had in NH. Great service, family run. The owner and her husband run it together, and they have a great staff. The kid at the front with the tie was awesome and super helpful. (forgot his name, I think Sam?) My only gripe is that the dining room looks so old. All the seating looked ANCIENT. (Very pretty flowers on the table though.) I would say time to update. As a whole though, Fantastic place, I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the North Country.

(Update: the kid with tie is Sean, not Sam, and even 10 months later, he is still doing a fantastic job.)

Lancaster House of Pizza has not only changed locations since my last review, they are now booking live music!

My girlfriend and I enjoyed potato skins, a gluten free pizza, and a large custom pizza. All things cooked perfectly and were brought to the table by upbeat staff. Bottled beer and wines are served here along with soft drinks.

The restaurant is cozy but not cramped. The do offer delivery through the Slice app and dine in orders can also be placed on the app. A recent delivery came before the estimated delivery time and the food was also amazing!

The owners have clearly been busy making positive changes. It is noticed and appreciated!

Edit:
So I found out you have to order your pizza light cooked to not have it burnt, So with that knowledgethe pizza was good! Still got yucky mozzarella sticks with my most recent order – like they were old (same as my previous review below) and not made to order.

So bad! I ordered a small pizza and mozzarella sticks, was told 30 minutes, I got there right a 30 minutes and it was ready, took it home (heat blasting in my car) the pizza was burned, hard and just inedible,. The mozzarella sticks tasted like they were from a convenience store and had been sitting in a warmer for 8 hours – my whole dinner was just not edible. So disappointed.

Edit (after restaurant replied) to add:

The above order was placed at 7:30pm on 11/15/24 (Friday night), and there were so many staff members just standing around. I do believe that you don’t use warmers, I just don’t believe those mozzarella sticks were freshly made. I find it all just so strange that the food was this old tasting in that short amount of time. I’m just not sure how the pizza got so overcooked in the 30 minutes I was told it would take, while the mozzarella sticks were old tasting. And you’re saying everything is made to order. Maybe it was so close to the end of the shift that the workers just made a bunch, or someone canceled an order, so I got them.

The pizza was loaded with toppings. Cheese on top was slightly toasted and other toppings were perfectly cooked. Not soggy or undercooked at all. Pizza arrived hot and delicious. Employees were friendly and courteous and very helpful explaining options and prices. Easy parking outside. Inside the restaurant was clean.

I’ve ordered here in the past (like years ago) and the food wasn’t great, but we ordered delivery the other night and the pizza was excellent! Loaded with toppings, perfectly cooked and everything tasted fresh and vibrant! We will definitely order again, I’m thrilled the quality has improved so much!

We ordered mozzarella sticks and fried pickles for appetizers and cheese and BBQ chicken pizza.

The mozzarella sticks were typical frozen sticks of cheese that were marginally OK.

Their fried pickles resembled handfuls of sandwich pickles dropped in a light batter and fried for 5 seconds. Almost no taste nor anything remotely like fried pickles I’ve had anywhere else.

The cheese pizza was, well, plain cheese pizza that had little to no taste.

The BBQ chicken pizza was just slices of disappointment. Anywhere else I’ve gone they put red onions in addition to the chicken, BBQ sauce, and a mixture of cheese. They used white onions which gave it a different flavor that wasn’t so great and greasy cheese.

All in all, won’t be back for a second try. Scorpios down the road looked like a better bet.

The only thing good here was the service. The pizza was terrible, the cheese bread was burnt and gross and our clothes reaked of greasy food so badly we had to wash all 3 layers, we were wearing and that is always fun on vacation. Doesn’t matter how hard you try to work on a pizza. Without quality ingredients, it will always be bad.

Owner very rude to customers does not listen to customers , ordered a pizza With extra topping paid extra, Ask for new pizza they threw toppings on a grill heated them up put them on top of my pizza instead of giving me a new one because she didn’t want to waste a pizza by throwing it away and waste money boohoo hoo customer is supposed to be right not the owner being a cheap skate, So much grease on it it took 4 paper towels to get the grease off it to be able to eat but even slightly be able to eat it not fully cut so when you pull the piece off the top ends and everything came off As well they didn’t even cut it more than twice these pieces are hooked together never cut “suck”

Oh yes the owner offered me a $5 refund for taking a pizza that I didn’t wanted no extra toppins she wanted to give me a pizza with hardly any toppins for $5 discount don’t think so

Hands down, the absolute worst pizza I’ve ever had. The toppings are watery and soupy, and the crust is always so soggy. Just total garbage and you can tell that it is extremely low budget. The atmosphere is rather gastly, like an old convenience store. Go to Yaya’s on Route 3 in Twin Mountain. They make actual Jersey style pizza and it is GOOD.
