I’ve driven past this place a hundred times on various visits to the area and as a new resident I figured I had to stop and try the place with the window art.
Going inside we were greeted as soon as we walked in. The staff, I assume the owner, was very pleasant and talked about what was popular on the menu.
I got the nachos based on the recommendation, options for steak. They were absolutely huge. Way more than I could eat in one sitting. I also appreciated that the steak pieces weren’t very fatty or gristly like you get at some shops with steak nachos.
I was a big fan.

Giant burritos and friendly, helpful and quick service! I had the birria burrito based on the recommendation of the owner and was not disappointed. Burrito was huge and tasted amazing, 10/10.

Best restaurant in town! Worth the drive over to Santa Clara. Any choice of beans, any choice of rice, any choice of meat! Toppings are all top tier especially the salsas. Don’t hesitate to bring your whole family here, something for everyone to enjoy. I’d let the cater my wedding , my birthday , even my funeral.

It’s one of the best Mexican restaurants. Lots of food, always take some home. The quality of all the ingredients are top of the line. Always greet you the minute you enter. They really take pride in preparing everything. We enjoy going there and like supporting small business.

More accurately it’s a 7/10. Above average food for a decent price. Excellent quantity of food. And for small town Santa Clara maybe it should get a bump up a point. Flavor wise it’s pretty good, but not the most incredible Mexican food you’ve ever had. Certainly better and more authentic than texmex Cafe Rio down the street. So if you want an above average authentic Mexican food experience, it’s worth it!

First time trying this place as it’s has great reviews. Overall decent option. Good portion is generous and food tasted decent. Tried the house chicken in a burrito bowl (plenty for two people to split). And the burria tacos were huge. Only 4 starts simply because the flavor wasn’t amazing. Just decent.

They wouldn’t get a high rating for service/friendliness but the food was good. Which is what you’re really after when you want tacos. It’s not an “experience” restaurant. Steak plate and house chicken salad were good. The prices were decent. It was our first time there and they had little patience. We took it to go and enjoyed at our air bnb.
