Food is and has always been good. They’ve closed the buffet after Covid, increased prices and prior to all of this happening, you’d go in and the owners, family and staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating and you’d be lucky to find a parking place if you wanted to dine in. Now, it’s less choices, food portions, your condiments are served to you and anything extra is at a price. Duck sauce is ten cents per pack when I’d placed our order dining in, I’d specifically said “A LOT OF” and named my sauces..the cup sauces they make in house weren’t even half full and I was charged seventy five cent for..my issue isn’t with the fact things cost extra but it’s in the manner I was handled as I’d asked and said it more than three times and when it was served to our table, I said “we’re going to need more duck sauce” when she asked if we needed anything else. She said “I’ll get you more when you run out.” As if I was a child and no money was mentioned then. I’d have went ahead and paid before having our meal experience ruined over a freaking $1.00. I work in the restaurant industry and ten cent a pack for duck sauce when it’s bought in bulk is highway robbery. It explains why they went from driving a Toyota car to a new Tesla and the parking lot is empty. Sadly, this was my last visit and I eat there often and NEVER spend less than $40-$50.

We go here pretty often and love everything we get. The beef and broccoli and the wings combos are our favorites. I recently tried the House Wonton Soup and it was so good! Packed full of veggies and protein and the wontons are huge! The broth was incredibly and I definitely want to order this again. We also recently tried the Asian Spicy Wings. They weren’t too spicy, they’re a little sweet and really really good! The Cherry Blossom Sushi is another favorite of ours. They put the sauce right on top and the shrimp tempura in it is always nice and crispy! The bourbon chicken is good too… there’s too many to list, I’ve loved everything I’ve had from here!

If you’re looking for classic Chinese food to chow down on, this is the place! The dinner servings are huge but the egg rolls are even bigger! Recommend the lo mein side in the dinner combos over the fried rice, rice is okay but not as good as the lo mein. Egg rolls were really good. The mains, General Tso and Chicken Broccoli, were also really good. Hug portions, easily enough for 2 or even 3 meals per serving! We also ordered soup, both fantastic and we’re taking leftovers as well. We ate in and the service was really fast, everything came out hot and we saw a lot of to-go/delivery orders. They even have a drive through!

My daughter and I visited this place for the first time. The staff was polite, the food was hot, and the dining area and bathrooms were clean. The sanitation grade was 100. Good music played in the background. We would recommend this place and plan to eat their again.

Sorry we came here. The vegetable and chicken chow mein was edible but lo mein was bland. The bourbon chicken was terrible – greasy, stringy mushy and breaded – nothing what I expected. Mall Chinese food is better. Though we dined in, our food was served to us in styrofoam and plastic containers. There was no hot tea – just sweet and unsweetened tea and Pepsi products. They did give me a refund on the bourbon chicken. My companions were unimpressed while I left hungry and disappointed.

We think this is the best Chinese food in Chatham County. And the staff is very friendly.

I always enjoy Lam’s. I do miss when they were a buffet, though; I used to go a lot more because I could always get my fill of my favorites without having to drive over 40 minutes to another Chinese buffet.
That being said, the food is still just as good and as good a value. The portion sizes are good. The combos come with fried rice and an egg roll. There’s a charge if you want lo mein instead.
A big note: they are much busier in the evenings and weekends, so if you don’t like crowds or waiting, try to go earlier than 6pm.

I’m sad it’s not a buffet anymore but the food is always really good. We get takeout from them a few times a month. The egg rolls are always crispy.
They put a lot of cashews on my chicken!
I generally get a side of hot oil but I’m warning you it has laid the smack down on my rooty poo candy a$$ the last few times.
The employees are very nice. One time they forgot our egg rolls and called us to tell us to turn around. They are always quick with our order!

The General Tso’s chicken is the largest pieces I’ve ever received from Chinese take-out! Huge egg rolls that came with it. Fresh everything! Chicken, rice, egg rolls, noodles. For sure will come back.

This was by far the worst food I have ever tried to eat!! Everything cold !! What type of meat it was I have no idea!! Don’t waste your time or money on it!! Just wrong!! This food was like some left overs they just popped in the microwave few minutes before you pick it up!! is a understatement!!
