The paneer tikka was soft, well marinated and grilled to perfection, offering a wonderful balance of spices without overpowering the natural creaminess of the paneer. The VK style dahi ke kababs were a standout crispy on the outside, melt in the mouth on the inside and bursting with rich flavours.
The North Indian gravies were exceptionally good, with perfectly balanced spices flavourful yet gentle on the stomach, without being overly spicy or heavy.
The dessert spread was truly indulgent and must try for this restaurant. The orange kulfi was refreshing, creamy and had a subtle citrusy twist that made it unique. The kanafa with rabdi gulab jamun was pure decadence crispy, syrupy and perfectly sweet with the rabdi adding a luxurious touch.
The presentation of every dish was up to the mark making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic meal with excellent flavors, textures, and presentation. Highly recommended for anyone looking to indulge in a rich and satisfying feast!
We would come back here!
We kicked off our evening with an impressive trio of appetizers. The Palak Chaat was a delightful explosion of flavors — crispy spinach topped with tangy chutneys and yogurt that left us wanting more. The Thecha Paneer Roll brought a bold, fiery punch with perfectly spiced cottage cheese wrapped beautifully, showcasing the kitchen’s mastery of heat and balance. The Beetroot Tikki was a beautiful surprise — vibrant in color and earthy in flavor, with a wonderfully crisp exterior giving way to a soft, flavorful center.
For the main course, the Paneer Tikka was rich and aromatic, with the paneer grilled to perfection with smoky, charred edges and a beautifully spiced marinade. The Peeli Daal was soul-warming comfort food at its finest — silky, fragrant, and deeply satisfying. The highlight for meat lovers was undoubtedly the Laal Maas, a traditional Rajasthani red mutton curry that was bold, fiery, and authentically prepared. Paired with pillowy Naan and flaky, layered Laccha Paratha, every bite was pure bliss.
We rounded off the meal with the Orange Kulfi — a refreshing and elegant dessert that perfectly balanced the richness of the meal with its cool, creamy citrus notes. A fitting finale to a remarkable dinner.
A special mention must go to Chirag and the entire crew at Lamhaa — their service was truly above and beyond. Attentive, warm, and genuinely passionate about ensuring every guest had a memorable experience, they elevated the evening from a great meal to an truly special occasion. It is rare to find a team that so seamlessly blends professionalism with heartfelt hospitality.
Lamhaa delivers not just food, but an experience — and with a dedicated team like this behind it, it is an absolute must-visit in Hamilton. We will definitely be back!
We started with tandoori lamb chops that were smoky, juicy, and bursting with flavor, followed by the chatpata gobhi, which was perfectly spicy, tangy, and absolutely addictive. To refresh, we enjoyed a colorful strawberry and mint drink that paired beautifully with the food.
The ambiance truly stands out—beautifully decorated with lively party vibes and very comfortable seating. They also have a party hall, making it a great spot for celebrations. For the main course, we tried the goat curry, bhagara mirch baingan, and soft naan—every bite was delicious. We ended on a sweet note with malpua, which was simply amazing.
Lamhaa is definitely a place you don’t want to miss! ️✨
The decor and courteous staff are a plus. Got a chance to catch up with one of the founders and impressed to learn that they use in-house combinations for their masala’s and some original Indian techniques to get their chutney’s tasting just like back home!!
A real gourmet experience!!
