Lunch special of meatloaf and fixings was good chicken salad, had no flavor. Grilled pimento cheese and bacon would have been good but it had way too much pimento cheese on it. Chocolate pie was good. Overall was not as good as expected but I will go again because I know it will be better choices that I’ll make next time.

So I called Lambert’s and asked specifically for a chocolate merengue pie. I was told by an employee that they had chocolate merengue pie (No mention of special orders) and they were $25. I drove across town to get this pie. When I arrived I asked AGAIN if what I was buying was a chocolate merengue pie, which she said it was. I got to the event (Wife’s birthday party) with the pie and when she cut into the pie it was definitely not merengue. It was just a regular chocolate pie. It sucked to see my wife dissapointed after being told I was buying a merengue pie (Again, was never told that had to be special ordered).
So either the lady at the counter lied about the pie or is just inept at her job. Not sure which is worse.

Love this gem. I’ve been getting baked good for them for a while. I expected them to be delicious, which of course they are. My last visit, I also tried a delicious soup corn chowder. Today I decided to try a sandwich for the first time. You cannot beat a sandwich from a great bakery. The bread was absolutely amazing and the egg salad was so good. The sandwich was large and packed and came with chips and a pickle. Best egg salad sandwich that I have ever had. Of course , I got some treats too. A couple sweets for my husband and kids kids and some butterfinger cheesecake for me!

This place is amazingly delicious and awesome atmosphere!!! Extremely friendly, clean, fast, friendly and down to earth. Great food and baked goods!!! Definitely will be going back!!!
P.S. the tomato pie is a must have!

Good… oh you want more. Ok. It’s a bakery that serves soups and sandwiches. The pies are tasty and you get generous slices. The sandwiches are stuffed full and they make it your way. That’s always a plus.

Finally got the opportunity to stop in at Lambert’s Southern Pie Shop. Now I wish I did this a lot sooner. It’s a tiny shop in downtown Maryville, but big things come in small packages. The staff is super sweet. It’s like being at your grandma’s house with several grandma’s. I got a piece of banana pudding pie that was to die for. It was over the top good. Vanilla wafers crust, fresh bananas, sweet custard like pudding and decadent whip cream. It was like a religious experience. I also got a pecan pie brownie that was equally good. A rich fudgy brownie with the inside of a pecan pie on top. It was absolutely brilliant. They have tons of different pies that you can buy whole or by the slice. I suggest a whole pie because once you taste it you’re gonna want more. I cant recommend this place enough. They also serve lunch. I got to try the fried bologna sandwich. I’ll be going back for lunch and more pie.

This place is… AMAZING! The people are so sweet. The shop is adorable. The treats are amazing and priced so well. The portions are great, too. We tried a handful of treats and everything was a solid 10/10. I highly recommend them!
The photo is the pumpkin pie cheesecake, I did smush it a bit so sorry about that. The portion is huge. I’m not normal a pumpkin person but it was so good. It wasn’t overly spiced and it wasn’t aggressively cinnamony. Highly recommend it.
