Flavors are great! My review in food and atmosphere is my personal preference. We ordered the chile rellenos and had a wonderful taste but I feel frying them ruins them. It’s why I was disappointed. We had the chicken and it was absolutely tasty. The pear salad was amazing too. My complaint that was that the chucks of blue cheese are too big. I love blue cheese and it was very good but break it up into smaller pieces to make it a perfect size and can blend all the flavors.

Lambert’s is the gem of Taos, with a charming courtyard that offers romance and relaxation. The menu is thoughtfully curated, and the dishes are expertly prepared. The gazpacho, the bass, the dessert — every course is seasonal, made from scratch, and has an exceptional flavor profile. We appreciated the friendly, highly professional service as well…the kind you’d expect in a city many times the size. The indoor seating is likely a highlight too, but if you’re able to enjoy this historic adobe building’s al fresco dining, it’s guaranteed to please. Just perfect!

We had a phenomenal experience at Lambert’s. We asked to adjust our reservation last minute which they graciously accommodated. Our server, Julie, was amazing…. very friendly, prompt, and professional. The food was amazing. We had steak tartare, beet salad, the filet and the glazed short rib…. So good.

The food is not really Mexican or New Mexican. It’s more classic European-American fare with, perhaps, a Taos twist.
The food is excellent. The presentation is excellent. The wait service is professional, friendly and personal. The environment is excellent. The experience is delightful!

The food and drinks were AMAZING!! We went here for our 30th anniversary. I had the Bison Tender Loin which was flavored and cooked to perfection and the carrot puree and broccolini were perfect compliments. The wife had King Salmon and it too was seasoned and cooked to perfection. We started with the Jumbo lump crab cake and was leery about the pimento cheese but after trying it it too as excellent! Wish I knew the Maitre D’s name but he was very accommodating and helpful. P.S. Make reservations for the dining room even on a Monday!!! The ambiance was phenomenal dining with the apple trees made for a perfect anniversary dinner. If ever in Taos this is a must on your bucket list and I know we will be back.

This was a very special, unique experience. The atmosphere is very intimate. The sections of the restaurant and very small and closed in. My partner and I didn’t realize how upsclae this place was. You’ll feel more comfortable if you dress really well..
We ordered the carrot bisque and roasted beet salad for starters. The bisque was spicy, but delicious! Beet salad was good.
Bread and butter with roasted garlic were fabulous!
As the main, my partner and I both shared the special scallop dish and Regal Crest Farms Chicken Breast. The food was cooked to perfection. The vegetables were fantastic. I would highly recommend both dishes.
