Oh my gosh!!! This place is too much! I love it here! My family and I are taking a family vacation, and we are traveling from AZ to Kentucky. On the way to St. Louis, we stopped here for dinner and this place had it all: great food, friendly servers, awesome atmosphere, cool experiences. There were five different people walking around and just serving stuff. The first was serving fried okra from table to table. The second was serving molasses for rolls. The next was serving potatoes. Finally, the guy serving rolls really was tossing them! The portion sizes were enormous, and the food was awesome. If your traveling, or just looking for a neat place to eat, stop here!

Meal selections, fun atmosphere, spacious seating and the taste of every dish is favorable and appealing. The chicken wings are so huge and the unlimited portions the waitress brings out is beyond fulfilling. Anytime I visit the area Lambert is always on the list. I wish the waits were not so long however, once you get seated and start eating you forget the wait time to be honest.(of course throwing rolls is entertaining and hilarious…. You would think they have a class on roll throwing because our day visiting the gentleman throwing the rolls seemed like a professional baseball player.

What an Amazing and fun place to eat!!! The atmosphere is very homey. It’s a little pricey but totally worth it! I had the roast beef and my husband had the chicken fried steak. Both were quite tasty and super filling, didn’t even finish all of it. Come with an appetite. You will not leave hungry. Especially with the free sides they offer from bowls servers walk around with. Watch out for the flying rolls !! If you like molasses there’s a server that drizzles it on a roll for ya

The food and portions are great and large. My favorite part is the hand thrown rolls. It makes everything exciting! The only issue I had was that I felt like the sides that they bring around for free rarely came around. Even our waiter did understand what took so long and why they were coming around. Which isn’t that huge of a deal because that’s not a service I paid for. It’s just a complementary side. The wait time wasn’t bad. We went around 4pm though. It’s a wonderful place to visit!

This place is really busy..we got in fairly quick but it was wall to wall people. Our server was a real sweetheart and our food came out pretty fast. I had the roast beef and it was delicious as were the mashed potatoes and coleslaw. We tried unsuccessfully several times to catch a “throwed roll” before we finally succeeded. I’m usually not a bread person but the rolls were great. The portions are huge so if you go away hungry it is your own fault. They had people going around with extra sides like fried potatoes, fried okra and black eyed peas.

Been waiting a while to try this place! It was worth the wait and also the 40 min wait outside. The food was delicious! I got the fried catfish and my husband got the BBQ pork plate! Our waiter Greg was awesome! We got a cinnamon roll to take back to the hotel. Delicious!

First time for us and it’s simply amazing, throwing rolls to everyone from across the room was great! All the extra sides they walk through and ask if you want any made it better than anywhere we’ve ever been! Going to make this a yearly stop when we come through! Highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t already and keep coming if you have before! We’re looking forward to next year!!! Even gave us this cinnamon roll as we was getting ready to pay and leave. Service is awesome all around!

Home of the thrown rolls! This place is a delight for the family. Southern classic comfort foods with lots of sides. The rolls are tossed to you and are hot and fresh. But don’t fill up on bread the food comes in plenty. No alcohol. Large order with lots of sides, definitely a returning place to be!

Fun place to visit the wait is usually an hour but once you order food it comes out fast. They also come around with fried potatoes, okra, tomato macaroni, black eye peas and of course the flying rolls that’s the fun part. You can get huge cinnamon rolls Togo they have a cart they will come around to tables asking if you would like to purchase one . On the menu they have the common allergies list S (soy) D (dairy) ect. I am a person with allergies so I appreciate that being right on the menu.
