Incredible! There are no other words except – GO EAT HERE! The sunset alone was a great start to the meal. The bar is great with interesting cocktails, but the dirty martini is out of the world! The food was EXCEPTIONAL! Since we ate off-season we ate downstairs by the bar area. 1 hr from Toms River, 15 mins from Ocean City the ride is pleasant and Margate City is a hidden gem of a town. Highly recommend if your wanting a memorable dinner!

We have been several times and it has definitely gotten better since last summer. The bar is great. The cocktails are interesting and very good. The food is very good.
I wish there was some shade out back to be able to sit outside in the late afternoon/sunset. It is way too hot and too sunny. They don’t mention that when booking an outside table, so beware.
The food is very good. Our server this time was a little strange. (older guy) Made us slightly uncomfortable. But the food was good.
The upstairs has nice views, but feels like an overflow space rather than an expensive restaurant.

OMG, not sure how we’ve never been here before, but definitely will be back!!!

If you are looking for the perfect place to watch the sunset down the shore, then you need to visit Lamberti’s Sunset Marina & Restaurant in Margate (15 minute drive from Ocean City, NJ – we came over from the boutique hotel, Coastal Chateau)!

We arrived for dinner around 7–7:30 PM on a weekday in August and had literal perfect seats on their deck overlooking the bay.

The service was fantastic, and the food was EXCEPTIONAL – everything about the evening was just perfect.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND for anyone wanting a memorable dinner with a view and the best part… YOU CAN MAKE RESERVATIONS!

We went for lunch for a family get-together. Our server was fantastic and the food was wonderful. Our lunch entrées were beautifully plated as if we were there during peak dinner hour. I really liked that nice attention to detail. I will definitely be back and would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Oh, and I can’t forget to mention the spectacular views of the bay!

Not sure why the reviews aren’t higher. The food was amazing. We had a 6:15pm reservation, it appeared that 7pm is when more customers come in for dinner. My picky fiancé scraped every plate clean. We ordered calamari, the burrata, shrimp cocktail, caesar salad, clam chowder soup, mussels, cappelini alla vodka, the crab cakes, the table side branzino, linguine with clams, the chicken parm. Everyone loved their food & we are pretty hard critics. The view was top notch and we will definitely be returning.

Tried to go here for Valentine’s Day, had an 8pm reservation, arrived about 10 minutes early, and was told they were running 15 minutes behind on seating. We went to the bar and weren’t seated until nearly 9pm. Then no one came to our table for 15 minutes. The waiter would go to the tables around us and say he’d be right there, only to come back and go to another table. The table to one side of us sent some of their food back, and we heard the table on the other side of us getting items taken off of their bill because they didn’t like them. After 15 minutes of not being served, we left and found a table somewhere else. The restaurant looked like it would be a nice space and the drinks were fine, but with the other options in the area, we won’t be returning.

Finally came back since they reopened as the old spot was one of our favorites. Reading some of the reviews we were a little hesitant but the new spot is great! I don’t get all the haters on here. Maybe disgruntled neighbors or former employees? The atmosphere is absolutely amazing and the views are beautiful. There aren’t many spots along the Jersey coast that have a better view! The drinks were delicious and so was our food. The Truffle burger was delicious as was the scallops and shrimp. Lots of complaints about food and service on some of these reviews but we had no issues. I think some people expect too much and to give 1 star because they only had 3 dessert options? That sounds like a you problem to me. We will definitely be back and we were happy to hear they will be open all winter too!

Was it worth the wait to open the place? Is it worth the price?

The service we received from Marissa was fantastic and it was on a busy Saturday evening in August. She was attentive, always providing updates even if something wasn’t ready immediately and consistently checked in on us

Atmosphere is absolutely amazing. If you want waterfront dining you get it with almost every table indoor and out, amazing view of the bay and sunset! Spoiler, this is primarily what you’re paying for here and the food tasting good is bonus

The food was mostly all very good although some items could improve a little. Detailed list below

It is pricey but you’re in margate on the bay enjoying the most prime waterfront view. You’re paying for an overall experience, not just the food

Antipasto – good and fresh
Margarita pizza – good
Meatball and ricotta pizza – very good, ricotta was delicious
Alfredo sauce – decent. Could’ve been more generous with the sauce
Zianna – this dish was amazing. The blush sauce was perfect and all the other ingredients were fresh and tasty
Vodka sauce – good but not as good as the wash sauce. Was a little too thick and creamy almost like they used cream cheese
Filet mignon – pretty good dish
Crab cakes – very good dish

This restaurant served up phenomenal dishes, from appetizers to desserts, each time we went decided to wait for our 3rd visit before posting to see if the food was consistent and the service.

The 2nd floor is more lively with the bar and DJ playing music.

My favorite is the first floor they opened the folding doors to bring the deck feel inside and it was beautiful to eat with great company and view the sunset on the Marina.

The service is always friendly and often makes great suggestions when we are feeling indecisive.

The Zianna, pizza, pork chops, and bronzino were our top favorites. Look out for the delicious specials. For dessert, the hazelnut gelato and cheesecakes were our go-tos.

Hopefully, they remain open for a winter visit.
