Was not expecting seafood of this quality. Mind delightfully blown – do not miss the Pescado a lo macho ($23). Was only taking a look and was already kinda full so split it between two folks. Ended eating it all. Also their hibiscus drink was the best I ever had… With hints of Cinnamon.
After you order, expect a little wait because they are doing the finishing cooking to make it perfect. Do not take out! Eat it right away to experience seafood cooked perfectly!

Lamas is a true gem for anyone craving bold, vibrant, and authentic Peruvian cuisine. The Lomo Saltado was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of rich flavor. The ceviche mixto was unbelievably fresh, with the perfect balance of citrus and spice. I also loved the fish taco, which was crispy yet light, and the fried plantains were the perfect sweet finish.
Even with the restaurant currently closed, the food truck serves the full menu and delivers five-star quality with every dish. Service is fast, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Pair your meal with a local beer and enjoy the cheerful atmosphere—it truly feels like a taste of Peru right here in our neighborhood.

The actual restaurant is no longer formally operating, but this truck still serves up the same menu. Their empanadas are tasty and I enjoy their lomo saltado. It’s always well seasoned. Bit of a language barrier sometimes, though. They have some tables in front if you want to eat there. No restrooms, but you can take a short walk to the public restrooms on the pier or use the ones in the shoppes if you’re privy to the door codes

Dont waste your money here: I ordered the lomo saltado and the beef was extremely poor quality. It was tough, full of gristle, and very unpleasant to eat. The texture was awful and it honestly tasted weird. After a few bites, it left a disgusting aftertaste in my mouth that made it impossible to continue eating. Poor service as well

The people taking orders here have serious attitude problems which I have experienced on several occasions and has led me to not do business with this company. When placing your orders here they act like you are unconvincing them by simply ordering your food. Also you have to either duck under caution tape or walk through a muddy planter box just to walk up to food truck. I recommend eating at Cantina in downtown for great Mexican food.

The girl that was there taking the orders had a bad attitude and kind of rude. Also she didn’t take or order right. We asked for a lomo saltado burrito and they gave us only lomo saltado. The food was ok, I couldn’t believe they didn’t have spicy sauces for the Mexican food.
