I was visiting from Idaho and some local friends told me I had to check out Lamar’s in Westminster. I let Christian, the employee helping me, pick out a half dozen of his favorites for me and wow, he did not disappoint! He was super friendly, gave great service, and honestly made the stop even better. My crew and I loved every single donut. If you’re in the area, definitely give them a try, they’re fantastic!

Lots of parking, outdoor seating, and very welcoming!! I loved their old fashioned donut!! Their apple fritter was bigger than my head and their glaze is so good. I also had their cherry filled glazed donut, the filling was delicious, but I wish it was more filled… Over all pretty good!

I hadn’t been to this location in several months. The last time I went I found the customer service to be subpar and the donut quality had definitely declined. Sadly, the experience was much the same on my most recent visit. The donuts had been fried too long and were more dry than moist. The cherry filled donut also had very minimal filling. I grew up on Lamar’s and used to love their donuts but I’m not sure I’ll be back to this location. Definitely room for improvement.

Wow! What a donut and what a great selection of fresh baked donuts. Often they are bringing donuts directly out of the ovens to the display cases. The staff is very friendly and very helpful because, honestly, the selection can be overwhelming and they aren’t inexpensive! Definitely join their rewards program! Well worth it.

Ahhhh yeah, the classic nostalgia of donuts in the morning since I was a wee little goblin. It felt good returning to a Lamar’s after all these years.
Got a good half dozen, all very fresh and warm. The woman who served me was clearly not prepared for mornings, but a good humor she had made it all well and good. Just a shame the place it a little condensed for seating. Otherwise a pretty good, and warm, place to get donuts that are still fresh.

Went to the Westminster location of this famous donut store, after visiting the one near downtown Denver. Same good-quality donuts, friendly service, and a bright, clean, family-friendly interior. The donuts and treats are priced a bit higher than your other chain/franchise donut shops, but the raised donuts are very fluffy and cake donuts are just right in terms of their stiffness and moisture. Went on a Sunday morning, so it was a bit crowded, but the queue moves quickly and we found a place to sit and eat or treats without any waiting. Recommended!

Wow these are good donuts! Very light and fluffy, and freshly baked. We got three filled donuts (raspberry, lemon and blueberry) and an apple fritter. The filling was so good, and filled the whole donut! Not like some places that just put a teaspoon somewhere in the middle, these had filling in almost every bite. Delicious! There apple fritter was good but heavy on the cinnamon. If you like that, you’ll love the apple fritter. The staff was fast and friendly, and it wasn’t busy at all for a Sunday morning. A great place you shouldn’t miss!

I have to give this place a one star. It used to be great. Customer service and donut quality has gone down, while prices have gone WAY up over the last five years. It’s goofy to think that places like this believe they can continue to charge the way they do. The American consumer is buckling and this isn’t the way to earn their loyalty.

Best damn donut you will ever find and probably the worst coffee you will ever find! Didn’t help that the order was screwed up (light vs dark roast) but even with trying to fix it we ended up throwing away two large coffees. Come here for donuts go somewhere else for coffee.
