We had such a lovely experience here. The atmosphere is beautiful and cozy, especially with the fireplace creating a warm and inviting setting. It’s the kind of place where you immediately feel relaxed and can enjoy a long dinner with friends. Note: The lighting at this place is warm and soft. They should update their photos!
The food was excellent—our seafood pasta in particular was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared.
The staff were also very friendly and attentive, which made the evening even more enjoyable. Overall it was a wonderful dining experience, and we will definitely be coming back again!

I’m so happy I found this hidden gem while visiting from the DC area. You know a restaurant is exceptional when the locals (young and senior) are enthusiastically dining in.
The server has excellent table ettiquette. I had the burrata salad, bolognese, branzino, and tiramisu. Everything was PERFECT! The branzino was crispy, tender, deboned and perfectly seasoned. The bolognese was so flavorful. A d the tiramisu came with a gooseberry. I felt like I was transported back to Italy
Truly an experience from Milano. You can taste the love and passion in each bite. My only regret is I didnt take a picture of the burrata salad.

I dined with a group of 4 on a Saturday night. Service was friendly and warm. They were kind when inquired about a food allergen (thanks to our server, Valerie). My partner and I ordered the Cesar salad, eggplant parmigiana, black angus steak, and penne alla vodka. The food was delicious! It was rich, full of flavour and comforting. The portion size was perfect. I left completely satisfied. Also, there are gluten friendly options for pasta and appetizers.

The online reviews sold us so last night our party of four adults decided to give it a go and I am so glad we did! Apps consisted of Arancini, Caesar Salad, Eggplant Parm and Bruschetta and they did not disappoint. Our main course included Penne alla Vodka x 2, Ossobuco with Saffron Risotto and a Black Angus Steak. The food was so flavourful and perfectly portioned to the point where there was little room for dessert, however two of us did have the Chocolate Cake which was delicious.
Our server, Valerie, was excellent and very attentive. The restaurant atmosphere was very relaxing and there was time between each course to enjoy good conversation.
Now that we have found this wonderful and authentic Italian restaurant we will definitely be back!

We had an exceptional lunch experience at L’Altra Milano in Waterdown today! The service was professional, attentive and friendly (thank you, Natalia), and the meal was truly exquisite! Complimentary warm baguette drizzled with EVOO and oregano was a lovely touch not seen in many restaurants! We thoroughly enjoyed the tender yet crispy fried calamari, the perfectly grilled octopus appetizer, the refreshing pear and Gorgonzola salad, the delicious mushroom risotto, the savoury spaghetti seafood, and fabulous desserts, a creamy affogato and the BEST tiramisù we’ve ever tasted! Congratulations to the owners, chef and staff of L’Altra Milano! We have found an authentic Italian restaurant gem!

We started some salad with pear. Pear, blue cheese, walnut balances very well with other greens.
Pasta was very tasty. You could taste the ocean. Shrimp. Clam. Mussel. Lamp is not my choice so I can’t add much but my wife cleared it and bones were all naked.
We were going to end our dinner since they close at 9:00 but they didn’t rush us. We ended up trying tiramisu house made. It was not sweet. And again we cleared it.
It was very rainy day and we finished with warm coffee.

We had a wonderful dinner. Food was incredible and the owners were so wonderful and kind. Highly recommend supporting this family business over going to some of the chain restaurants. Will come again soon!
