Went here on a Friday morning. Place wasn’t busy and plenty of parking in the back.

We were greeted by Jocelyn and promptly seated us. At this time, it was cash-only, but they do have an ATM machine. I ordered 2 fish tacos and a beer. My friend I was with ordered chilaquiles. They serve breakfast Thurs-Sun, I believe. Orders came quick and the fish tacos were delish. The sauce in it had lots of flavor, batter was pretty good and the taco was a good size. Rice and beans were good too. I didn’t try the chilaquiles, but the serving was a good size. Arguably for 2 people.

Overall, a good place to eat for your seafood needs. Again, Jocelyn was very nice and helpful. Everything was done quick. Definitely check this place out.

Omg!!!! We found our favorite place for fish tacos. First off the service was awesome, extremely friendly and very welcoming. Amy & Leo we’re just so nice and awesome to us. Now the fish tacos was exactly what we went for and we were not disappointed. They were soooo delicious, even the fries, beans and rice we’re very good. I’m definitely coming back for whenever I feel like some Good fish tacos!

Atmosphere was good. Customer service was good. Area was super sketch. The fact that they only take cash after a certain hour is sketch. Burrito was gross, but Shrimp was good. It was a cute place, not my favorite but not bad

Came in on a slow night, Initially chips and salsa very delicious. I ended up ordering some main dishes such as the seafood tostadas that are reasonably priced and overall happy. The tostada’s are premade so not exactly delicious just generic hard tostadas. Oddly enough they don’t offer clamato with the mariscos, strange. The burrito is a little strange not how it’s supposed to be prepared. A grilled fish burrito still included beans typically with seafood burritos you make them in a baja style no beans add cabbage and more veggies etc and other small complaint with the burrito there wasn’t much fish inside. Although I did enjoy the flavor besides the previously mentioned oddities. The service was also bad it was slow and the waitresses where just talking with each other I had to call them constantly to do their job to say it honestly. Good restaurant in some ways needs work in others, owner also seemed very nice.

“Lalo’s Mariscos and Pastas is a unique fusion restaurant in Inglewood, CA, serving Italian-Mexican seafood dishes. The menu boasts a wide range of options, including appetizers, pastas, and seafood.

Highlights:

– Fresh and Flavorful Food: Dishes like the Aguachiles, Penne Arrabbiata, and Shrimp Burrito showcase the restaurant’s commitment to using fresh ingredients and bold flavors.
– Diverse Menu Options: The menu caters to various tastes and dietary preferences, including vegan and vegetarian options.
– Spacious Interior and Outdoor Seating: The restaurant offers a comfortable dining experience with ample seating and parking.

Drawbacks:

– Cash-Only Policy: A significant inconvenience is the restaurant’s cash-only policy, which may pose a problem for customers who prefer to use cards. This limitation may deter some patrons, especially in today’s digital age where card payments are increasingly common.

Overall Experience:

Despite the cash-only policy, Lalo’s Mariscos and Pastas offers a memorable dining experience with delicious food and excellent service. The friendly staff and attention to detail create a warm atmosphere. If you’re looking for a unique fusion of Italian-Mexican seafood and are prepared to pay in cash, Lalo’s Mariscos and Pastas is worth trying.”

Great food – a ton of shrimp and the ceviche and the Baja shrimp and fish tacos were quite sizable. Good flavor and balance of veggie, sauce, and protein, and the tortilla was interesting. Like a hybrid flour corn tortilla.

Our server was really nice and Chef Lalo came to say hello and ask how the food was. When we were leaving and in the parking lot, he also said bye to us from the kitchen door. Oh and the lot is spacious. Such a joy to have easy parking in LA. Close to LAX, so a great stop before or after a flight. My friend was flying in from Portland where she says there’s no good Mexican food, and she was so thrilled to eat at Lalo’s.

There’s also a big screen TV (maybe more than one, I can’t remember) so it’d be good to watch sports.

This is one of my go-to lunch spots.

I usually come during my lunch break, so I keep it simple and always order the tacos — and honestly, if it’s not broke, don’t fix it. The tacos are large, high quality, and more than satisfying for the price. Great portions, delicious meats and seafood, and they’re consistently on point.

Everything comes out quick, which matters when you’re on the clock, and the quality never feels rushed. If the tacos are this solid, I can only imagine what the rest of the menu has to offer.

Definitely recommend. I’ll always come back.

The servers were very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and well presented. The prices were reasonable. The serving sizes were very large (bring a big appetite, a friend, or a takeout box!) I’d come here often if I wasn’t just passing through. Close to the airport.
