My husband and I came for lunch. First impression, wow such a pretty atmosphere! We got a Taco Salad and Steak Fajitas. This was so good. If I lived closer, we would be regulars. Our server, Alexia, is professional and sweet. She made sure we were happy with everything and got everything we needed to enjoy it to the fullest extent. Try this place out, I highly recommend!

Service was excellent and food was good. The parking was easy to get to on a Saturday night. We got our food quickly and correctly. I would opt for grilled chicken instead of shredded because it’s a little dry otherwise.

We were on a little sister trip for my sister’s birthday and on her birthday we were staying in a cabin nearby. She wanted Mexican food for her birthday and we looked at our options. She picked this one and we got takeout to take back to the cabin. The food was delicious. We enjoyed sitting on the cabin deck and enjoying our food. I got burrito Durango and it was great. We would certainly return to this place.

Beer (great prices!) and chips and salsa…get the house “Picaso” chili pepper sauce to spice up the salsa to a very nice level.

I had eggs and chorizo and that was good, but the beans and rice left something to be desired. Not bad, just…meh.

Service is FLAWLESS and they treat me well.

Cute, small, simple. Good service. I would like more spicey food but that’s me! After lunch or dinner you can walk around the square and explore Trenton. Service was good. I’ve attached some copies of menu .take cash if possible, or pay a couple percent for credit card

We ordered cheese dip. It was like cheese soup, very runny, not very good . The child tenders were good. The fajitas were not very good. We had big chicken chunks with fat, and the steak was not very good either. Service was great but the food was not very good .

If I could give this place a zero I would. We were driving through and decided to stop. I wish we would have kept going. Service was terrible! Food was horrible. I ordered fajitas with chicken and steak. Tasted like it was made for soup. Had no lettuce, cheese or sour cream. I couldn’t even eat it. Waitress never came back to ask if we wanted anymore drinks. She never asked how the food tasted and the sweet tea we both ordered tasted like it was soured. I would steer clear of this place!

Food was uncooked (specifically large amounts of beef in my wife’s tacos). Guacamole was brown and tasted to be made from an old avocado. Pico was just soggy tomato with a few pieces of onion. Fried tortilla around my chimichanga was doughy and uncooked. Rice and beans were store bought and bland….

One host was biting nails while taking us to seat and taking an another table’s order.

* Our server was actually really nice and told us not to worry about anything and that we were fine to go without any issues. Good dude and apologized even though it wasn’t his fault.

10/10 do not recommend Lalito’s to ANYONE

Unplanned stop = big mistake.
We were traveling and were hungry. Usually, we like to try local (non-chain) restaurants. The BBQ place right next to this place was busy and we didn’t have time to wait. That is how we ended up here (these guys were not busy at all = there was a reason). Let me tell you, this is the worst Mexican food we’ve ever had. Coming from NW Florida, we are truly spoiled by an authentic, delicious, very fresh Mexican food. We didn’t like anything we ordered here (except for maybe the “cheese dip”). I would NOT recommend this place to anyone who values good quality, authentic Mexican food.

The only positive here was the waitstaff, who were genuinely kind and doing their best to be attentive. Unfortunately, everything else really needs improvement.

First, the cleanliness. The restaurant didn’t feel well-maintained—there were water-stained and broken ceiling tiles, worn-out booths with no springs, and a women’s bathroom floor that looked like it hadn’t been mopped in a long time. A cleaner, fresher atmosphere would make a huge difference.

Next, the food. The tacos, with absolutely no flavor, were buried under clumps of cheese and far too much sour cream, which completely overpowered the chicken. On top of that, there weren’t any authentic Mexican-style taco options, which was disappointing for a place that calls itself a Mexican restaurant.

Then, the guacamole. This was supposed to be an appetizer, but it was brought out AFTER the meal, without chips, and was so watered down it didn’t even resemble fresh—or even store-bought—guacamole. My family and I couldn’t stomach more than one bite. To their credit, the staff did refund us for it. However, what a disappointment in a dish they claimed was fresh.

Overall, while the staff were decent, the food, atmosphere, and presentation just weren’t there. With some changes—cleaner surroundings, more authentic flavors, and better attention to detail—this place could improve a lot.
