I went in with high expectations based on the reviews and left completely disappointed. We ordered an elote and two burritos to go, asada and al pastor. They were 98 percent rice, wilted lettuce, and almost no meat. The menu does not mention any extra fillings, and the cashier never asked or mentioned it. Charging $13 per burrito for this slop wrapped in a tortilla is outrageous.

When I got home to cut them up and share, I found plastic in one of them. Everything went straight into the trash.

My husband ordered an elote, and it was disgusting. The corn had brownish-grey mushy pieces mixed in, as if bad corn was blended with good. The texture was weird and it tasted like frozen corn.
On top of the terrible food, the service was uncomfortable. It was not even 7 p.m., and the two girls working were sweeping and cleaning as if the restaurant was closing, making us feel like a nuisance while we waited for our food. They were literally sweeping right by our table as we waited for our order, as if it couldn’t wait. I understand cleaning is part of protocol, but with customers present it felt intrusive, especially with two hours left until closing.
I wish I could get my money back. We will not be returning.

Service is great but the food is horrible. I ordered steak quesadillas when they first opened and the steak was the lowest quality and inedible. I was reluctant to go back but figured how could anyone mess up a breakfast taco??? Well they did. I ordered two bean and cheese breakfast tacos. And I asked if they could add potato. Why did they give me a styrofoam Container full of potatoes instead of putting the potatoes on the taco? So I opened up the packaging and there was beans spread everywhere. It was a hot mess but it wasn’t hot. And there was no cheese on them! If you’re ordering something with only two ingredients in it and adding one, how the heck do you miss one of the main ingredients! This is crazy to me. So I wasted $9 on two tacos a side of potatoes when it shouldn’t have been a side of potatoes, and I just ended up throwing it away. I could easily make better breakfast burritos/ tacos myself. Which I will happily do going forward. Not only that I went against my better judgement and went here instead of going to 7-Eleven which has amazing breakfast tacos that they make in front of you. I will never ever ever ever go back to this place again. I wouldn’t even take a free meal from there. The people are super nice there. But I’m sorry the quality of the food is atrocious. It’s pretty sad. No wonder why I was the only one in there ordering. Save your money. Go somewhere else. Or make your own breakfast at home. Because it’s not worth it. I’m only giving two stars because of the service. I would normally give one. But the people that are reviewing this place so highly, are most likely embellishing, outright lying or just don’t know what good quality food is.

If you’re from California and missing real tacos, Lala’s Taqueria is an absolute must.
The food was incredible — fresh, flavorful, and truly the closest thing to authentic California tacos that I’ve found since moving to Texas. Every bite reminded us of home.
On top of that, the service made the experience even better. Megan was wonderful — friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome.
We’ll definitely be back. So happy to have finally found our go-to taco spot in TX! ❤️

Gourmet LaLa’s style tacos. Pretty authentic flavor and that crusted cheese tortilla is .

We also tried the quesabirria and it was very good. Melt in your mouth beef, cheesy and greasy as I like it.

The service was amazing and the staff double checked my order. Nothing was missing and they don’t skimp on the sauces or the heat of it.

As I mentioned, the LaLa’s are gourmet tacos and were +$5 but worth it.

We ordered to go but noted that the dining room is a bit small and they were busy.

I would have given 8 stars out of 5 if they let me. The street taco meats were so delicious and tasty. My daughter gives 2 thumbs and toes she likes them so much.

We ordered 3 different tacos.

Shredded beef taco, chorizo in La La Style and Steak taco.

La La Style is very unique, tasted really good with chorizo. It’s a little messy to eat but worthy the mess.

All the tacos were really good. Did a take out and they were fast in making the tacos. We also got a good size (maybe 8oz) of guacamole included and chips too.

Two stars for the rice. I don’t even know why I keep going back it’s bland every time now. The first time I went, it was seasoned and full of flavor, but lately it’s been nothing but a miss. And the consomé that comes with the birria tacos? So watered down! Why would you even serve that to people? You know it’s not supposed to look like that. I wouldn’t dare serve something like that to anyone. It’s not going to kill you to sprinkle a little salt, pepper, garlic powder, sazon, or adobo on the food. Y’all know darn well consomé isn’t supposed to look like water. Stop playing in them people’s kitchen

Yummy Mexican food, authentic and very good prices.

We had the Birria tacos with and without cheese. They were so delicious. The meat was tender and the dipping sauce was so good that I drank it after the tacos were gone. I recommend Lala’s for authentic Mexican food.

I’ve been to a couple “fancy” establishments and none of them treated me half as good as this place does! They have the friendliness staff ever. Always cleaning up, super fast, asks everyone if they need anything else they will do it like taking out your trash. Sadly this place is small , they deserve to be bigger . affordable prices . delicious food ! amazing presentation. warm/hot food . food tastes authentic. FREE DINE IN REFILLS FOR HORCHATA & piña drink, WOW this has been right by my house and i never knew they had this drink for so cheap ! i will be coming here every week for that drink now . 10/10 highly recommend . $2 street taco Tuesdays .

We stopped in to grab some delish lunch to go, and some for our team. Quesadillas, nachos, and elote were all excellent as always. Lala’s teammembers, Rebecca and Liz helped us. Both were cheerful and engaging. It was easy to tell they were having fun and enjoyed being there. Well done.

Lala’s Tacos is a must! I had the avocado and asada tacos Lala’s Style, both packed with flavor and perfectly done. The loaded elote was creamy, cheesy, and absolutely addicting. And that red hot sauce? Tasty with a hint of heat. Everything hit the spot. I’ll definitely be back!
