⚠️ A heads-up for anyone planning to dine here.
When I walked past, I saw that the restaurant offered many different food options. However, there were no prices listed outside. The prices are only visible once you are inside and handed the menu, which can make it uncomfortable to walk out, especially on a quiet weekday night when all the staff are watching.
I ordered a simple chicken soup since I was not too hungry. Halfway through my meal, the staff asked if I wanted naan, without mentioning there would be an additional charge. While I acknowledge I could have double-checked, when I raised my concern at payment, the staff was unapologetic and dismissive, stated that the garlic naan was not included, and simply pointed at the price instead of explaining politely. The lack of courtesy and care affected the experience far more than the cost itself.
The food is also relatively expensive for what it is, and the combination of unclear pricing and unfriendly, unapologetic service left a negative impression. With the restaurant being very quiet on weekdays, the lack of visible pricing outside may feel uncomfortable for anyone who prefers transparency before dining.

December 29, 2025. We stop by at Interlaken to change train to Brig, so we decided to buy lunch and found this restaurant. It was a 8 mins walk from the train station to the restaurant. We were greeted by the chef as the owner has not arrived, so decided to ordered a take away to to time consideration. The restaurant was spacious, an Indian decor well decorated.
We ordered Nasi Briyani Mutton & chicken, it was so good eating at the bus stop as we were so hungry. The spicyness was just right, it tasted so delicious

Came here today with friends, we ordered 15pcs kebab platter and butter chicken with roti. Everything was amazing, authentic Pakistani taste with amazing service. We had a proper guest like experience here. Will definitely recommend this place to everyone who wants to try authentic Pakistani taste.

Food is decent but very overpriced. Chicken curries had minimal curry and mostly dry chicken. Vegetable items were better. You only get rice with chicken items and not vegetarian items for some reason.
The location close to harder kulm probably makes them charge more for the food but there are probably plenty of better Indian food places in Interlaken.

We travelled all the way from Birmingham, United Kingdom, and Lal Qila Restaurant in Interlaken proved to be the perfect choice for authentic Pakistani halal food. The dishes were excellent with plenty of great options, and the customer service was absolutely spot-on. Highly recommended!

It’s one of the best Indian restaurant in Interlaken Switzerland. The Tandoori Chicken Biryani is very tasty. The restaurant have indoor and outdoor sitting. Quiet place. Good service.

Staff were great and had excellent food! Prices are average for the Interlaken area but the cost per person is reasonable as we split 3 dishes with a family of four for around $30/person comfortably.
Food was cooked very well- we are really picky about our south Asian dishes but the prep was great and the flavors were excellent. We also had a nut allergy concern with our table and the staff made sure there was no cross contamination. Thank you for a great experience!

Good authentic garlic naan and chicken briyani. The service was great as well and it definitely was nice to be able to try some indian food here. Recommend for anyone craving good indian food here.
