We’ve been here twice in the last week. We had the lunch buffet the first time. There were quite a few yummy options as well as a salad bar to choose from. We loved the spaghetti, corn nuggets, chicken strips, and garlic mashed potatoes. The second time we ordered the 2 cheeseburger combo and 2 hot dog combo. The cheeseburgers were hand pattied, seasoned hamburgers that were huge and so tasty! The signature lakey dog is the best I’ve had in a long time! Can’t wait to try the chili cheese dog next. The owners and staff are so friendly and welcoming. You won’t be disappointed with this place!

We saw this cute little spot while coming from Destin Fl. Let me say, some of the best food comes from tiny, unassuming “hole in the wall” spots like this. First, the restaurant is so adorable and nicely decorated. They had such economical choices.. All-U-Can-Eat buffet with drinks for $16! Now, granted it was limited choices but it’s still a steal and it looked good. Their regular menu had my favorite combo which is a cheeseburger & hotdog. So that’s what I got and I tell you we was so pleased! Now they cook it to well done but it was definitely NOT OVERCOOKED! It was tasty so for those who like it medium/ med well don’t be scared, try it!
Also, the people in there was so nice and welcoming. This was our first time in Alabama and they made us feel welcome.

My husband and I just had lunch here and both of us totally enjoyed it. The space inside and out is so clean and inviting and then the service was impeccable. Great care was taken to ensure we had all that we needed all throughout our meal. The food was very good. My husband enjoyed the hot-bar while I had been craving a good old-fashioned hamburger, (theirs did not disappoint). We are so happy to have a new choice of places to eat in our small town. Good luck, and we will see you again soon!!

I thought I’d try some of both & see how much food I’d get for the price so I ordered the combo with the hot dog & hamburger. I got sauerkraut added to the dog too. They grill the dogs instead of heating in water so I liked that. The burger was made with fresh ground beef & thick with lettuce, tomato & pickles. Was very good & filling. The fries tasted like they were fresh cooked & crispy. Got a large sweet tea too. I hadn’t ate all day but that was very filling & I couldn’t finish it all. I’d say for all that food & paying less than $15 with that thick meat it was a fair deal. You’ll go to a McDonalds, Burger King or WhatABurger & pay at least $12 for a paper thin meat burger combo with a lot less food & who knows where the meat comes from plus half the time the order isn’t even right. My food here was fixed just as I had ordered so that made me happy. I was short on time so I just called in my order & picked it up at the window The lady was very nice & friendly too so I will be going back for more!

I’m in search of the world’s best burger. May not be the best in the world, however, by far the best burger I’ve had in the tri state area. From Montgomery to Panama City. The hot dog was the 2nd best dog I think I’ve ever had. Amazing. I will drive the hour from my house just to eat here from now on.
