I can’t say enough about the incredible service at lakeview Tandoori Bistro.The staff truly understands the art of hospitality. Our server was not only efficient but also incredibly friendly and personable. They made us feel like valued guests and took the time to answer all of our questions about the menu. The attention to detail was remarkable – from refilling our drinks promptly to checking in on us regularly without being intrusive. I recently visited Lakeview Tandoori Bistro, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience overall. While the view from the restaurant is undeniably beautiful, with a lovely lakeside ambiance that sets a great first impression, that’s where the positives end.
The service was extremely slow, and it felt like the staff were either overwhelmed or simply uninterested in attending to their customers. We waited far too long for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was mediocre at best. The dishes lacked the authentic flavors you’d expect from a tandoori restaurant and were just bland and uninspiring.
The beautiful view might lure you in, but sadly, the poor service and subpar food make it hard to recommend this place. A real shame, as this bistro has so much potential if only the quality of the service and food matched the stunning scenery.

I gotta say , quite decent Indian food, especially for Williams lake, I was pleasantly surprised when my group and I stopped in for lunch. I ordered the Lamb Vindaloo and requested it be extra spicy, the dish was quite good, definitely not as spicy as I was hoping for but the lamb was quite tender and moist, I also placed an order for the garlic Naan, it was fairly decent and paired well with the sauce from the lamb vindaloo or the butter chicken my group ordered, the chai tea was average, and the butter chicken was quite good. Definitely recommend stopping in if your in Williams lake.

Good food. We walked in and ordered takeout on a whim. We had to wait 45 minutes for the food but it was ready when promised and piping hot. Larger portions than expected. We could have shared one entree between the two of us and shared one naan too. We ordered vegetable samosas, chicken curry and chicken korma and plain naan with pilau rice.

We went to enjoy a nice meal and ended up spending around $70, but the experience was very disappointing. While we were still eating, the staff asked if we needed containers to pack up, and before we could even finish our food, they came over to tell us we needed to pay up front — as if they were in a rush to get us out. For the amount we spent, we definitely expected better service and a more welcoming atmosphere.

I’ve visited Lake Tandoori Bistro twice now, and both times the service has been extremely poor. The food took over an hour to arrive, and the server was rude, disinterested, and acted like she didn’t want to be there at all. Her attitude and behavior made the whole experience unpleasant.
What’s even more frustrating is that I had the same issue with the same server before and spoke directly with the owner about it. They said they would take care of the problem, but clearly nothing has changed. It’s disappointing to see that such unprofessional behavior is being tolerated.
I really hope the management takes this seriously and improves their service — customers deserve better.

The butter chicken is so flavourful and creamy! My BF and I both love the garlic naan and chicken biryany rice (mild spice). The mix of all three are perfect combination.
The service is friendly every l time we come here and the atmosphere is lovely.
