I wished the food looked as good as the menu. Lakeview Cafe is at about the level of a Dennys with a million dollar view. We had a dinner and a lunch there. Staff is friendly and fast.
Plus: The View, Clam Chowder, Perfectly cooked fries, Pork Chops.
Minus: The fish in the ‘Fish and Chips’ was a refugee from Long John Silver, lost interest in the Chicken Fried Steak 2/3’rds of the way through. I tasted my wife’s spicy shrimp. It was aged.
It’s a truck stop with an attached casino. Manage your expectations and you will be fine. (It’s not like you have any real options in this area.)

First off…IDK if its Truck Parking for the Lodge, but right across the street from the Lodge, theres a pull off area we parked our and walked across to eat!
The service was top notch…I think his name was Johnny. Took good care of us. We enjoyed the music, view and food. Everything was .
They even had a nice little soup & Salad bar. ++++
We will definately remember this place next time we are thru. Keep up the good job.

This place was a pleasant surprise. A cafe located inside a small lodge/casino on lake front. We didn’t expect food to be good as the reviews were low, but we were hungry and tired and decided to try. Food was unexpectedly good and inexpensive.. food came out slow but we were enjoying the view. And our server was very sweet and friendly which made our dining experience enjoyable. If you’re traveling through lake topaz definitely give this cafe a try.

Staying nearby, I dropped in for dinner because it over looks lake topaz. The restaurant sits in the back of the casino, upon check in I immediately noticed the un friendly staff. I was alone and sat by the entrance in a very large table for about 10 people. I asked the young lady about one of the three open booths by the windows. She tossed the menu on the table and told me to move myself after they were cleaned while mumbling, uh marines….. I’m not sure what that meant. I am not a marine.
Meal: daily special of meatloaf—mediocore at best.
After I got the check check “Natalie” the cashier was very snippy and took the check and credit card out of my hand, very appropriate. I called her out on it, and she rudely told me that patience is a virtue (I was the only one there and not in a hurry).
Extremely poor service and mediocore food. I would just keep driving to the next town. And apparently, there is a bias towards military

Woww such a great view and delicious food my friends took me here because i have never been and the food was so yummy for being in a casino ❤️ it was so peaceful looking outside at the lake , what a relaxing restaurant ❤️

The young ladies who work there are incredible, they are friendly, quick, and always running around making sure everyone is taken care of. Great food and great view. Always a nice stop for breakfast.

We’ve past this place several times. We decided to try the Lakeview Cafe inside of the Topaz lodge Casino.
The service was good, the food was really good and the views of the lake from the dinning room are awesome!! I had the pastrami with fries and my wife tried the taco salad. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and will definitely stop again!
