I was skeptical upon first walking in – No one else was there. However, once we got seated the waitress was SO kind and attentive. We had a large group of 10 people. Food was great. Ordered the rueben (without sauerkraut) and chicken strips (which are huge – literally like a whole breast each) And though huge, they were still flavorful and moist all way through. I would recommend

Hands down worst breakfast I’ve had. Greasy ..so greasy. Overcooked eggs. Friends eggs were undercooked. Asked for crispy bacon. It was not cooked enough. Toast was cold and they handed me rock hard butter. Just disappointing overall. Won’t be back

My partner and I came in and ordered a $7 garden salad and Philly cheese steak.
We could not believe the size of the garden salad. I’m posting the photo here to encourage you to avoid ordering it. Probably $1 max of lettuce, 2 cherry tomatoes, 1 cucumber round, and croutons. Such a rip off.
The cheese steak and tater tots were fine. For $18 they were mediocre.

So….this is our second day in a row here on vacation. Both days we had the lovely Bree and master chef Joe making our food. Yesterday’s food included clam chowder, fried dill pickle spears and a few beers while we waited for a pizza to go as we were going to take that to eat on the beach.
Today was fish and chips, more clam chowder, jalepano poppers and a few more beers.
The food:
Clam chowder was fantastic- ultra clammy without being too clammy. Lovely clam to potato ratio.
The pizza was a half pepperoni half pineapple. It was pretty to look and delicious in flavor. The sauce was really good and it had an extra dash of herbs on top to really finish it off.
Fish and chips- really good and decent portions! If you aren’t getting any sides, indulge in a 3 piece. If getting sides, a two piece will suffice.
The staff:
Amazing.
Master Chef Joe clearly takes his job seriously. He is really good at what he does and you can tell he takes pride in his recipes.
And Bree….she not only is engaging, she is hilarious and fun. She is attentive and super sweet. She took care of us well and made us feel like we had already been friends for a long time. I really like her.
Ultimately, come for Joe’s chowder, stay for Bree’s heartfelt hospitality.

This is more of a bar than a regular restaurant. They serve seafood. I had their fish and tater tots witha cup of their clam chowder. The fish was good, the tater tots okay but the clam chowder was not what I expected, strangely seasoned, maybe with cayenne pepper but definitely too spicy for regular New England clam chowder. I know I’m a fairly picky person but I’ve never seen clam chowder like it. My wife had their coconut prawns and clam chowder. She wasn’t impressed with either. Sorry, but that’s how we feel. The waitress was very pleasant and helpful.

Took a trip to the coast last week in November. I stopped by this great restaurant mid afternoon. I ordered some fresh deep fried oysters Mmm I love them. I also ordered fried pickles and double cheeseburger. Great food I love to travel in the winter. Cant forget about great service she was the best I can’t wait to go back later on this winter.

Went for dinner with a group of 4. Our 1st server was friendly and answered all our question. Our 2nd server took our order and served us. We got Fish and chips, Chowder and the Pork Sliders. Chowder was awesome. Huge chunks of clams and potato. Nice and thick, could have used a fork to eat it. Pork sliders were very good as well. The fish was a bit disappointing albeit good. We were told it was a beer batter and it was panko breading. The tartar sauce was amazing. All in all we enjoyed everything. Will be back.

Service was great, but the food was terrible. The clam chowder had an overwhelming amount of white and/or black pepper, so I gave up after a few bites. My son’s chicken strips were okay, standard cafeteria-type fare, but the tater tots were way overdone. Definitely seems like the focus is the bar and not the regular dining area, and it shows in the empty dining area (which was empty during normal lunch hours).

First time coming here, just stopped in to order some clam chowder and garlic bread to go. Guy who took my order was nice and straight forward with taking the order. Went to the restroom and by the time I was out my food was already prepared and ready for me to grab and go. Cook in the back sounded like what you’d expect a cook to sound like at a local one off place which gave me the impression my food was going to be good and god damn was it good.
If you have ever worked in the food industry you’ll like this place. If you haven’t, then you’re lucky. Definitely will be coming back.
