The place seems nice and cozy with a lot of locals dinning in.
The service was also welcoming.
I had a hot turkey sandwich and was deeply disappointed. Two pieces of bread with turkey in side and grave on top. Didn’t like it at all.
May be just my bad luck and they have better things on the menu.

Delicious as always! Today we got the Chipotle chicken melt and a reuben sandwich. Both were excellent. The fries and Mac salad were great as well. The place is always spotless and clean and you can tell the staff takes pride in what they do here. As an industry worker, I can tell you they deserve every five star review they earn. The owner, Karin, is always around with a smile on her face too. Bravo!

I tried corned beef hash with scrambled eggs (as opposed to poached egg suggestion). It was okay. Very heavy on the potatoes and seemed to lack some seasoning. I love this meal with grits, but they had run out!
The service was great. I believe the server was bilingual Spanish, which was nice. (I don’t speak Spanish but I like the access for those who do)

I’m just a driver delivering to the Charlotte Warehouse located behind this diner. I decided to treat myself to a meal and I have to say that the food and service was excellent. Keep up the great work!!!

Decided to stop in before our day trip and needless to say the owner Kathy was doing the cooking, and was actively seeking a cook which explains why she’s the owner and not the cook. Our wait time was alil over 1 hour so we decided to just get our food to go and once we finally got it we were maybe 5 min away before I decided to eat and to my surprise my food was burnt and missing sausage patties. We returned to restaurant so that it could be made correctly how could you possibly serve someone this. Another customer saw help was needed and ask to speak with Kathy to fill the position. She( owner) didn’t appologize or offer some sort of discount no nothing but thankfully both servers were polite giggled when they saw how the food looked.lol

Sat on the patio, excellent and quick service. Burger was delicious and the bread was toasted and buttered rye. A very vintage vibe. I felt very attended to and welcomed ❤️ we ordered a patty melt and the kids menu got dog. Coffee taste fresh. Wonderful first time experience here
