We love this diner. The mozzarella sticks are fantastic! (They are not very dietetic, but, it is cheese after all.) the people who work there are great, but, they did a remodel and the new benches are way too upright and not enough room between the bench and the table. Sort of sad but we still like them.

We came across this place on the way back from the Highlands Natural Pool. It was under renovations when we came in but so far it was looking good. The decor is modern and clean. When it’s finished, it will look beautiful.
They had a nice variety of food at affordable prices. The meatball parm hero was pretty big and had a row of whole meatballs on both sides. It was a generous portion and so big I had to eat with a fork & knife.
It wasn’t the best meatball parm I’ve had, but it was good. The French fries were nice and crunchy. It was a great value for $13.99
My husband had at reuben sandwich and he enjoyed it.
The service was great. The owner or manager even took the time to stop by our table to make sure everything was ok.

My husband ordered the corn beef hash well done with eggs over easy and hashbrowns. It was hands-down the best corned beef hash we’ve ever had! I had the French dip sandwich and that also was beyond amazing. We also had a side of their special cinnamon pumpkin pancakes which were great, more like a dessert than breakfast. We went at lunchtime and the place was busy but they have plenty of seating. Our server Marissa was very attentive and accommodating. The whole meal was great and we are looking forward to going back!

I’ve lived here for 25 years and was always happy to have a local diner. I used to enjoy the food here. My last 2 visits were completely different than any of my past experiences. First went for lunch. My partner had a decent cheeseburger but the fries looked like they had been cooked in old oil and were overdone. My salad had so many yellowing and shriveled pieces that I started sorting it. The grilled chicken smelled terrible like it had been going bad and they cooked it anyway. I was able to send the salad back and get it off of the check.
I decided to go back thinking maybe it was just an off day. I’ve been there many times for breakfast and it’s usually busy. This day, there was one person seated. The sausage was overdone, not cooked as usual and the waffle was terrible, just tasted like chemicals.
There’s definitely something vastly different. I also liked the old furniture which gave it a homey feel. Now there are high back seats that are not fastened and they slide very easily. This place is just not for me anymore. Unfortunately, I will be driving further for my next diner meal.
Also, I was mentioning this to a friend of mine and she said she ordered soup to go twice and was given the wrong soup. when she tried to open it up to check the second time, she was prevented by a woman who insisted it must stay hot. It was again the wrong soup. Very strange.
REPLY TO OWNER: My concerns WERE brought up to the waitress who took the dish away. It was addressed immediately but no one came to discuss it any further with me. This happened last week. The salad leaves were bad enough that I had to start sorting them. I am an adult who can tell when salad leaves are rotten and have ordered enough salads to know a good or bad salad. An unfortunately, my other meal was just as disappointing. Honest reviews of businesses good or bad are appropriate on Google which provides this platform for that reason.

They sat us at the end of a little room and I think forgot about us for about 15 minutes. One of my cousins flagged someone down for service.
Once we were attended everyone was very kind and attentive.

We had our breakfast there and it was just oerfect place for it!! Great choice of breakfasts, specials, pancakes, eggs, etc. Big plates, rather say enormous!:) my husband and I ordered special no 11,12 and 6 and we together could not finish it, two would be just enough for us. Pancakes are somethink special, if you are pancake-lover as me you should definitely try it here! Great service and nice prices are just another advantage of this place. Highly recommend!

Originally, I had sat down to eat but ended up ordering for take out. The waitress did not come for a while and the food took sometime to come out. But the fries were absolutely amazing. I ordered it with regular fries. So so good, the sauce and chorizo was a perfect combo. Definitely would visit for fries again

Well, we again used Lakeside Diner and Chris to cater an event, and as usual, he knocked it out of the park! Food was amazing, price was on point, and he came and set up everything for us. Our guests kept exclaiming on how delicious the food was. If you ever need catering, don’t hesitate to call Chris at Lakeside Diner-you will not be disappointed!
