I went here with my family over the weekend and honestly it was a pretty good spot for a casual meal. The place felt cozy and the staff was friendly without being over the top. Our food came out fairly quick, and everything tasted fresh, especially the chicken dish I ordered. Kids liked their meals too, which is always a plus. Prices felt reasonable for what you get. Only thing I’d say is it can get a bit busy, but that’s kinda expected. Overall, nice family place to grab a relaxed dinner.

Had dinner here last weekend with my kids and it turned out pretty nice. The place has a comfy, family enviroment and the staff were friendly without being over the top. Food came out warm and the portions were decent for the price. My burger was cooked right and the fries were crisp, kids liked their macaroni a lot too. It did get a little busy, so we waited a few extra minutes, but nothing crazy. Overall I’d defintely consider coming back when we want a simple, relaxed meal together.

Found this place on the way through Indiana. So so so glad we did! Mom and Pop style place. The staff was literally the most friendly positive group of people I have experienced in any service venue in a very long time. Food was amazing!! Had an omlet that came with real sliced fried potatoes and 3 “silver dollar pancakes” the size of regular pancakes. Huge portions …I think my omelet must have weighed a pound or two. Seriously.

I had heard great things about the Lakeside Cafe and wanted to bring my kids here. The service was excellent! All of the staff were friendly and checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. We all enjoyed our food. My daughter highly recommends the Sundae Waffle

☝ This SPOT has ALWAYS been hidden Jewel!! When I say, you can never go wrong ordering your favorite food (Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner) & l and it will come out tasting better than, imagined?! I mean it! Prices are reasonable, food portions are generous and ALWAYS delicious! I usually have their Lakeside Egg Benedict, but decided on a Veal Parmesan today. It was Superb! Tender, delicious & correctly cooked! MY Hubby had an Around the World Gyro w Pitas, and it literally had everything… including a Greek Salad (w pitted olives, feta cheese, Tomatoes , and Onions ). While MY Son had a HUGE Western Omelette w a STACK of Pancakes . Staff is always courteous , personable☂️, and all are great at their jobs! From the cooks, to the hostesses, ♀️waitresses, food ♀️runners and table cleaners are ALL hospitable and prompt. Incredible FOOD, great price & excellent ☑️ service. Definitely a great family restaurant to check out! ✔️ There is soooo much selection, that there is something on the MENU for anyone to eat (even picky ✅️ eaters)!

First time here. We had a very nice waitress who was attentive to our needs. I thought my food was good. I ordered eggs and toast and it tasted like eggs and toast. I also ordered a cappuccino, but I wouldn’t again. It was much too thick & sweet. I am posting pictures of the menu, but be aware, they raised their prices again. They have to honor the prices that are in the menu though.

The waitress was musty. The cashier over charged us. I eat here at least four times a month & I always get the same meal, I know exactly how much my order should cost. She was also rude & very aggressive when I asked to her to recalculate the bill. She yelled out as I was leaving, “Well if you can’t afford to eat here, then don’t comeback!” I’ve been eating here for 25 years & I always pay & leave a great tip. After today, I will no longer be a customer.

Stopped in from Florida to visit family and we decided to go to breakfast. I really like local Mom & Pop restaurant’s, the family had never been. The food was great, the service was outstanding and you couldn’t beat the prices. Loved it and will be back.
