I’ve been coming here for years. Particularly for the breakfast offerings.

Has a very diverse menu and the food is cooked without frying and other not harsh ways of cooking things. The main dishes I often get are the French toast, eggs Benedict and breakfast sliders.

I used to often get the breakfast burrito, however over the past year it’s decreased in size by fifty percent. Yet, remains priced the same .

It lacks seasoning overall when it comes to many of the lunch offerings. And my major con would also be the smoothie and fresh juice on demand area. The juicer is more often than not “down” because staff states it’s a lot to clean. Then far as the smoothies. They prepare them well however the size and quality of fruit they utilize for over $6 a piece don’t sit well with me.

Best cafeteria in a hospital environment all food totally vegetarian and vegan options available. Fresh juices and healthy drinks. Patients and doctors can mingle and eat. Outdoor patio on small lake where you can observe frequent landing and take off of Florida Hospital’s Helicopter Ambulance. One of the top tier hospitals in America and probably largest fully vegan one also !

Yeah it was pretty good. Parking is difficult if you’re not already at the hospital for another reason other than to eat here.

I got the quinoa with tofu, brussel sprouts and home fries. The tofu was surprisingly good but the quinoa was a plain. The brussel sprouts and home fries were also pretty good.

The staff isn’t all that friendly but they were helpful once you get their attention.

What a disappointment. What did I expect it’s hospital food after all.
I went there for breakfast on Friday morning at 8am, while I was visiting my friend at the hospital.
It was quite busy being Friday morning and all.
I saw a video monitor advertising a “Acai breakfast bowl”, that looked interesting and delicious. I asked the cafeteria worker, “I would like to get a Acai breakfast bowl.”
The rude employee shortly replied “I don’t have that here, you have to order that over there!” She flicked her hand at me, motioning to the other side of the cafeteria
I said Thank you and went over to the other counter and waited in the substantially longer line. When I reached the counter, I said “I would like a Acai Breakfast Bowl please?” The cashier told me “We don’t have those.” I told her the other worker told me that you had them and to order it over here. She replied ” We do have them, we just don’t have them today.” I was so confused.
Instead, I order a mixed berry smoothie and a white chocolate mocha. They both arrived fairly quickly.
Afterwards I went back over to the “hot side” of the cafeteria. I ordered scrambled eggs, two breakfast sausage and tater tots. The portions were miniscule, considering the inflated, hospital price tag. The largest portion was the tater tots, which were served ice cold at best.
The eggs were barely existent and the sausage was dry and flavorless.
The mixed berry “smoothie” tasted like berry flavored ice. Very grainy and it had a off-putting consistency.
The only appetizing thing was the white chocolate mocha. I guess it’s pretty hard to screw up Espresso.
My final bill was $18.00. I felt swindled and worse, I left there still feeling hungry.
In my opinion, if you want to have breakfast while visiting someone at this hospital, Don’t eat here.
You’re budget will Thank you.
Oh well, you get what you pay for. What was I expecting a Michelin star restaurant?
It’s hospital food for Christ’s Sake!

I went to the specialty coffee bar and ordered a cappuccino and a chai tea latte. The cappuccino wasn’t sweet but very bitter. The chai tea latte wasn’t tea at all. It was some kind of coffee which I abhor. It took the girl 10 minutes to make our order so I’m thinking she doesn’t know what she’s doing. It was very disappointing. The pastries were ok. I was able to swap out for Gatorade which was much cheaper.

Under the circumstances being there, this Cafe is all vegetarian & our breakfast was wonderful. We were even able to sit out on the patio and enjoy the view.

Lakeside Cafe is the saving grace of Advent Health Orlando cafeteria food.

The menu is different everyday for combo meals, which could range from being eh, to delicious.

Yuca fries, actually seasoned rice, scalloped potatoes, and a few more items are bomb.

Then you have the Ziti which has nearly no cheese and just tastes like pasta and tomato sauce. Whack.

The consistent items like the sandwich station, salad station, and flatbread are typically all very good.

The peanut butter and jelly sandwich, the lakeside salad, all the flatbreads. Bomb.

To be fair though, I’m only impressed because Welch’s cafeteria is actually just whack.

Got a morning melody smoothie and a piece of cheesecake. The cheesecake had the strangest gelatinous texture and all I could taste in the smoothie was the banana and even that seemed watered down. Disappointed in this $7.55 purchase
