The Laker drive-in is a absolute hidden gym that’s tucked away in Stevensburg Kentucky. Stopped off here for a bite to eat with my wife on our way out to Bowling Green and we hopped off of the Joe Prather and about 5 to 10 miles off of there is the most unassuming little drive-in joint.
The service is fast, under 10 minutes for piping, hot fresh food, large generous portions, and feel good Americana comfort food.
They have some special specialty burgers and specialty dogs that combine unique ingredients for a standout cuisine.
The buffalo dog was spicy but balanced with the sweetness of the slaw.
The smoky dog was especially good with a beef hotdog stacked tall with onions, barbecue sauce, pulled pork and pickles.
The Philly cheesesteak was delicious, though a slightly smaller portion than you would expect for the price and the ratio of food per dollar for every other item they sell.
However, it was still very high-quality and I would recommend it, I just thought that worth noting for others.
The craziest thing about this place isn’t only the service the food where the quality of it, but how dirt cheap it really is.
For about 35 bucks I was able to feed me and my wife, and we have an abundance of food left over and could’ve easily fed another two people.
You usually won’t spend more than 10 bucks per person, and truly for the price you get a generous quantity of hot food that feels good.
It’s small town, charm, with small pocket cost costs. Probably one of my favorite hidden gems that I’ve discovered on a road trip, and I can’t wait to come back!

Hands down, probably the best burger in the state, if not a very close second. Straight and simple formula that works in every sense. Delicious burger, tasty sides, and an excellent milkshake to was it all down with. Worth the drive to find it, just be prepared for the heat if you go midday during the summer. 10/10 definitely gonna be back.

Good food, you can just sit and wait in your car for them to call you when it’s done. I recommend the strawberry shake!

I went here out of respect to Kobe but was surprised when it wasn’t a basketball oriented business. I decided to stay and try the Laker burger and munchers with a chocolate shake. Excellent food. Would and will repeat. Maybe next time Shaq or Kareem can swing by. Think out it.

Very cool little spot to stop for a burger. I honestly don’t even know where it is because my crazy dog Conrad and I were just taking a cross country trip without navigating or road maps and just stumbled upon it as I was passing through. Hopefully again one day when I’m on another unplanned adventure , I stumble upon it again because I will stop again. Great food, great prices and great service. Thank you very much

My family loved this place. My 3 sons devoured their food. Excellent fries and seasoning. My wife actually finished all of hers and did not share. The double cheeseburger and specialty burgers were excellent. The Philly was served on a hoagie and the A1 sauce on it(or similar) was a nice surprise. The fried pickles was the best any of us have ever had and we eat fried pickles every restaurant we visit. If you’re out that way heading to sinister trails make sure you visit and take some time to enjoy this place. I saw other locals ordering ice cream and they looked amazing. I feel like I will drive the hour out of the way just to visit.
