“Best ice cream ever” said my 9 year old. Feels like fine dining ice cream with 83 flavors and a 20 foot marble soda bar. Purple daze and Stellar coffee stood out. Don’t miss this spot!

Now this is where it’s at! Lakeland Ice Cream Company blew me away with the number of flavors—they have so many fun and unique options, it’s honestly a little overwhelming (in the best way). Be prepared to take your time deciding because everything sounds amazing.
They also have a super cool wall of gummy candy you can buy, which I thought was a fun touch.
I tried the Butterscotch and Heavenly Hash—both were absolutely delicious. Just a heads-up: if you get two scoops, they’re huge (check the pictures). You definitely get your money’s worth.
The staff was friendly and accommodating, even with the Sunday night crowd. It was a little busy, but nothing crazy or unexpected.
Overall, a great experience and I’d absolutely return for another sweet treat!

The Lakeland Ice Cream Company’s are the BEST ice cream shops in Lakeland! There’s hardly competition and if you have been to one then you understand.
Having this location in South Lakeland closer to where I live is dangerous. The original is in way North Lakeland, and there’s also one in Mulberry (called the Mulberry Ice Cream Company). But regardless which store you go to, it’s a consistent and delectable product.
They have a dozens of flavor options, from a full case of sorbets to kiddie options like superman to all the chocolate heaven you could want. They handmake the ice cream and you can tell when you have it, it’s just different than other places.
I usually end up trying something different every time I come since there are so many options- there truly hasn’t been one I haven’t like yet. And you can taste test if you’re having a hard time deciding, which would be understandable.
This location is cute- it’s where the south Swan Brewing bar used to be so they kept the bar up and refashioned it to work as more of an old school ice cream parlor feel.
Another fun part of these ice cream companies- they also have homemade waffle cones, like literally almost double digit flavors, and you can get the famous ice cream burrito or ice cream nachos. If you’re a fan of malt flavors the malts they make are fabulous too.

Loved the fun summer deal of filling a Stanley for 10 bucks, and the ice cream is really good! But the service was fairly slow and the layout feels very crowded and cramped, you have to push past people to see the flavors. Also they were out of or about out of so many flavors.

I walked in and was instantly slapped with the smell of fresh baked goods. We had a hard time deciding what to order. We ended up ordering a cotton candy Burrito, coffee waffle bowl and a dairy free cookies and cream bubble waffle. A small icecream shop with Great customer service. Fresh bubble waffles and cones. They have the famous cotton candy Burrito. If you want some good ice cream at great prices with excellent quality give them a try.

WOW! if you like ice cream, then this is the place for you. Most shops have the usual flavors. This one goes way beyond that with flavors that would not be seen in the standard store. I confess I eat a lot of this tasty food, but I have never seen flavored waffle cones. If you are brave, have two scoops. That might be a bit much for most as it comes close to a third of a gallon. Go and indulge yourself and take the whole family with you.

Got a waffle cone of Strawberry shortcake and it was delicious! It was one scoop but a very generous one! Very cute little ice cream store that sells a great variety of flavors as well as sundaes and cones.
