Waitress didn’t seem very nice. Ordered the rib eye. Very fatty but tasty. Ok now the weird part my hubby ordered chicken Parm. The sauce was more on the orange side. No to good and the chicken was so pounded it was almost not there great crunch on it will not try again it was very expensive.

I got a caesar salad which I have had there before, but this time there were tomatoes in it. I asked the waitress about it and she said that that is the way you make it. I have had it there before and there were never any tomatoes. The chicken in the salad was not cooked properly, it was wet and soggy on the side, not crisp. I went again today and got eggs, toast, hash browns, etc. The eggs were overcooked (brownish tint to them). The hash browns almost looked like they were there from the morning, not fresh. I have had food at lakehurst diner many times and have never been disappointed until the last two times I was there.

Always enjoy this diner. Quick service. Just popped in for dessert and coffee. The carrots cake was dry. The icing helped.
