The food was tasty but we didn’t get full. The service was prompt but lacked personality. The restaurant was clean and quaint but the outside is overgrown and needs some TLC, and the inside deserved some decor. Beautiful setting on the reservoir and the super friendly dog is a nice touch. Overall, it was a pleasantly neutral experienc, but probably a one time visit for us.

Had an absolutely wonderful culinary experience. It’s a cozy restaurant nestled in right next to a lake that provides wonderful views while you eat your meal. Very peaceful yet fun atmosphere.

I took my mom here for a special Mother’s Day brunch. The food was delicious. The quality and freshness of the farm-to-table concept are unmistakable. The lakeside setting is also tranquil and beautiful. I give four stars for two reasons: 1) portion sizes were quite modest, though the quality largely compensated, and 2) the staff were friendly, but service was spotty; in particular, it took a very long time for our food to arrive. These are minor shortcomings, and we will certainly be back.

We went to this restaurant as an office outing and we were SO excited. I’m very disappointed to report that although it could have been amazing, it was not. The service was terrible and although both the proprietor and the waitress knew our party of seven was not having a good experience no one even discussed it. We were just auto-billed a huge tip (a fact that isn’t advertised for parties of SEVEN) and sent out the door being treated as if it was a nuisance or a problem to serve us. We spent several hundred dollars on dinner. It shouldn’t be this way. Additionally, all efforts to discuss it with the owners in the ensuing day and a half have been completely ignored. So I leave this review so the next person can beware. It’s a huge shame too, the setting is breathtaking and the concept is amazing. It was quite a let down.

This is the best restaurant! The food is so delicious. It is thoughtfully made and the ingredients are top notch. Most vegetables and fruit are grown right next to the restaurant when possible. The scenery is beautiful & set up so almost everyone has a lake view.

Wonderful meal, well prepared and presented. The service was impeccable and Chef Renee was very personable and enthusiastic in visiting with us following dinner. Worth the drive from Omaha.

Wow! This was a dining experience one would expect in a big metropolitan area. Absolutely fantastic. Best dinner date I have ever had in Nebraska, by far. Just amazing!

These guys knock it out of the park. This is the best-sourced farm to table restaurant in the state and beyond. They researched greens that survive well in Nebraska winters and found delicious, sweet, nutty chicory greens, grew them and carefully paired them with just the right light dressing, apples and candied pecans. And that’s just the salad. We went to their Osso Buco special dinner last night, which they paired with risotto and gremolata. Our bottle of Cabernet put it over the edge into Nirvana. Then apple tart and french pressed coffee to die for.
