Ashley was an amazing host, server, bartender (ect.). We had the most enjoyable time, and ate what was the best breakfast in the area. This place has a great menu, with extensive drinks and great vibes. It seems small on the outside but has plenty of room for snowmobiling groups, or a couple wanting a nice breakfast. 10/10 would recommend going! We will be back

My family and I have been eating at this restaurant for many many years. It may not look like a high quality eatery from the outside, but once you sit down and notice the very reasonable prices and are served by a friendly and welcoming staff, your opinion quickly changes. The food I ordered on my most recent trip (pictured – special with eggs, meat of your choice, hash browns and toast) was delivered as ordered and was very satisfying too. The coffee was okay and they were having some issues with the register which delayed our bill for a few minutes but nothing too bad. I would give a 5star rating but my mom was with me and she wasn’t a big fan of her oatmeal order and stated it wasn’t as hot as it should be. Great place for an affordable and tasty breakfast!

When I pulled up, I saw a sign that said, ‘OPEN’. I thought, “For what?” But then I saw a Perch breakfast. FANTASTIC! Living in Miami, I forgot how wonderful a breakfast in the Northwoods can be. I’m up there every year, and I won’t miss stopping by next.

Cannot recommend this place enough. Stopped in for breakfast with a group of 7 on a Sunday morning and we were blown away by Village Cafe. The food and drinks were amazing (the pancakes, breakfast burritos, and corned beef hash were all standouts), and the service was very friendly. The place is also well-decorated and very clean, including the bathrooms, which were immaculate. This is a hidden gem in tiny Lake Tomahawk, and is worth the drive from other nearby cities.

This was a must go to when we are up here. Ordered breakfast and was so excited but when the food came, it was just sad. Ordered the bait pile and found it was half of the past portion and they went from HOMEMADE corned beef hash to CANNED 🙁 I hope the new owners go back to the original fantastic, delicious, homemade recipes

Watch out for the 5$ mini pitcher of syrup. My wife happened to be facing away from the fine print note on the greaseboard mentioning the 5$ “locally sourced maple syrup 5$). I was in the restroom when our food came out and found the syrup next to my plate. I shortly heard the waitress ask another table if they wanted to try the locally sourced syrup (no mention of the up charge). I asked my wife if the waitress had said anything about a 5$ upcharge when she offered the locally sourced maple syrup and she had not (knowing my wife she would have passed had she known it was 5$ for the special syrup good for 1stack of pancakes)I was already into my pancakes and was assuming that the small pitcher was a sample and you had the option of buying a jug for 5$. Check comes and sure enough, 5$ upcharge for the mini pitcher of syrup (think a medium sized creamer). Seemed a bit deceptive. I get the note was on the greaseboard but who would think the item would be repeatedly offered with no mention it’s an upcharge.
Food was fine but won’t be back. Can not recommend
