My first time coming here and it is a nice and very clean small cozy place… great service the server was prompt bringing water refills and drinks …the food was delicious… I had the green curry and it was very flavorful… come and try it or any dish as its food looks great … I will come again and again …

Service was a little slow, we waited almost 20 minutes to order. Food was brought out fast, not the best Thai food I’ve had but it was definitely satisfying. The pad thai (country) is delicious.

Everything was alright. Nothing was exceptional. Plum sauce was my favorite thing. If I only had the fried tofu, plum sauce, and beer this would be a different review. Also had the country pad Thai which was underwhelming.

I went on a Saturday evening. The orders took awhile to come out. The restaurant was packed with 3 parties, one a small family and mine and the other group of about 4-5 people.
The food was palatable but nothing to write home to mom about. I would eat it again as it was not horrible. I mostly liked the Thai Iced Tea, but then again I don’t think many restaurants could mess that up!

Great Thai food!
I think this place is under rated. Food is really good and lots of variety of Thai dishes. Excellent Thai desserts also.
Service is friendly and welcoming. Not a ton of people dining in but the phone was ringing constantly for take out.
Sits right on Rainier Ave. and appears to have difficult parking in front but there is parking behind the restaurant as well as the small street behind offers more convenient parking options.
Extra bonus….The restaurant rating on the door is ‘Excellent’!

Good food and nice cozy atmosphere. Small place with usual Thai cuisine dishes. Mango rice is pretty good along with Tom Kha soup. Do try one of these dishes without miss. The owner, though, isn’t very welcoming and almost put water on our enthusiasm. Not that I mind it much, but it’s just one of the observation I made. Probably we went there on a bad day! I will go there again, for food regardless of the owner’s attitude.

Lake Thai was pretty good food. The only issue we had was they were pretty understaffed the Saturday night we visited. One person was having to wait tables, bus tables, take phone/to-go orders, and work the register. The result was that service was understandably slow, especially when one of the tables was being very demanding.
The food was delicious. Probably one of the best panang curries I’ve had, and my fiance really enjoyed her pad thai.
There’s a decent amount of parking on the street out front and behind the restaurant.

I eat here at least once a week. I can’t recommend the Labor Noodles w/pork enough! It’s just soooo good! The owner is a great guy, the staff is friendly, and easily the best Thai I’ve had! You should go eat here now. Not tomorrow – NOW!

Dropped in for a take-out order during Coronapocalypse ’20. The lady running the place is very nice and makes a mean green iced tea. I haven’t tried the food yet, but it smells pretty good!

This place is not only our favorite local spot, but it is by far the best Thai food we have eaten. We are Chinese and all our friends, including one from Thailand, love this place because of its authenticity. People who have traveled to Thailand tell us this place takes them back to Thailand. Ok, so one negative. We called our take out order 15 minutes prior to arriving and we are still waiting (15 minutes and going) with no customers inside or currently waiting (there were two ahead of us when we got here..seemed like they were waiting awhile too). This is a regular occurrence and we know we should have given them the usual 30 minutes before picking up so I only blame ourselves. IF YOU ARE DESPERATELY HUNGRY AND CAN’T WAIT, GO ELSEWHERE!!! This food is so amazing it’s worth the wait…made by actual people from Thailand and with love, your palate won’t be disappointed!
