Good service the decor was super cute. Feels more like a bar restaurant than brewery. Gave lower score on food/beverage because they don’t do complimentary tastes of there beer which maybe would have been okay but we were charged 4.50 a 4oz. Pour which I think is too $$. We bought a crowler for $11 and two tastes and the bill was over $20!!

The Calabrian shrimp pasta and tonkatsu ramen were absolutely to die for! The affogato and bread pudding were also incredible. It actually reminded me of Vietnamese coffee, which was especially impressive. From the drinks and food to the atmosphere, live music, and service, everything was phenomenal. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu!

This place was great. We had a couple of great pizzas and a delicious wild rice salad starter. The fries were also fresh with a great sauce. I had the home-brewed root beer which was great (and much cheaper than many other options). Wife enjoyed the wine menu, something not always featured at a brewery. Cool vibe and lots of seating.

This place is a must stop anytime your in the Duluth area or even traveling through. Located just a quick 10 minute easy drive from canal park area. Their food is exceptional. Their pizzas… amazing bite after bite.
Really starts with the dough. Has a great crunch to it. Sauce that keeps you wanting more.
If pizza isn’t your thing.. or just not in the mood, well you won’t be disappointed to give the smash burgers a try.
MN grass-fed, fresh ground beef & gruyere cheese along with your choice of toppings.
Will certainly be back again as there was so much more to try!
Oh and they brew their own beer!

1-17-25. Took a weekend vacation with friends and stopped by Lake Superior Brewing because my buddy likes Pizza. We all order the same pizza, the Hot Pep Pizza. The sauce has good flavor and the thin crust was crispy. The sauce have a hint of spice to it. I like the thin cut jalapeño. A buddy order some fries which I tasted and for some reason it was really good. Overall good style pizza, great atmosphere and probably good beer too.

Our server, Soli, was fantastic attentive, kind, and made us feel completely taken care of without ever being overbearing. She helped make our visit feel special from start to finish.
We sat outside on the patio, and the atmosphere was perfect. With a light breeze, string lights, and a relaxed vibe, it was the ideal place to unwind and enjoy good food and great company. You can feel the Lake Superior energy without being overwhelmed by crowds just peaceful, cozy, and inviting.
And the Shroom Pizza, wow. The rich porcini sauce, earthy mushrooms, creamy mozzarella, sharp pecorino, and fresh arugula made for an unforgettable combination. Every bite was bold, balanced, and full of flavor. Hands down one of the best pizzas we’ve had.

Superior brewing moved to the north side of Duluth. It is a nice brewery but I did not do my research….feels as much or more restaurant than brewery. Don’t get me wrong, they have their beer pouring, on my stop they had: a kolsch, hazy IPA, Pale ale, oatmeal stout, a marzen, a Belgian strong, a kriek, an IPA, and a light lager….plus seltzer. I really liked the Belgian and the marzen. We stayed and got a pizza, which was good. They have a full bar as well but it did not feel like the place where you belly-up and ask questions about the brews. I will probably stop again when I am in town if they have that Belgian on.

We went for late lunch early Dinner. White Fish basket was amazing. My wife had Poutine with cheese curds and said it was delicious. Washing our food down with there delicious Kraft beer. Staff was friendly and prompt. Thanks for a fabulous meal.

Great local spot, a bit off the beaten path but not hidden. Parking is easy. Wonderful food and staff, and the patio is great almost any time of the year. Good live music is a regular feature. Take home some fresh baked bread for a next-day treat. Out of towners should consider the on-site lodging options. Highly recommended!
