It was very crowed. We had a reservation for a party of 4 and was seated quickly. They had an omelet and waffle station made to order. The greens was very good along with the roast beef and han. The chicken was a bit dry and the bacon was a bit greasy. The seafood salad was bland. However the smoked salmon and capers was very tasty along with the bagels loxs and cream cheese. They had unlimted mimosa and a bar area to watch the game in the next room. The food was replenished quickly as the containers emptied. And the assortment of desserts were delightful. The view of the lake was amazing as well. All in all I would definitely return.

The Lake Shore Cafe has been around for a long time. Located in the building which houses LaQuinta Hotel. It will always be referred to a the old Ramada Inn. The restaurant is directly across from Lake Shore Drive and if your lucky to get a seat facing the window, on a clear sunny day, you can see beautiful Lake Michigan. The food features American dishes from burgers, salads, soups and sandwiches. Most folks come for the hot buffet which includes a variety of choices. Loved the salmon cesae salad which is hearty and filling. Hated the tuna sandwich which had red and green bell peppers and was falling apart on their croissant bread. The waiter was sweet and brought back another option so the service is friendly. The upside to this neighborhood gem? Parking is free.

We have been here several times on Friday evenings for the seafood buffet. The food is great as well as the live music. Patrick is such a nice man! He checked on us at least three times to make sure everything was okay. It is obvious that he loves his job! Thank you Patrick!
