Love the clean environment! I really enjoy their spring rolls, famous bourbon chicken, Kung Pao chicken and udon noodles. You must try their chicken wings — they’re the best! Very authentic, and the wings are marinated perfectly with so much flavor. Highly recommend it! I will definitely go back. ❤️

Chinese Kitchen is up and running in its own space. It used to be inside the Lake Miriam Publix but has reopened in the new location in the Lake Miriam Shopping Center next to Beef ‘O Brady’s. Same friendly staff and delicious food .

I swore it wasn’t as good as when it was in Publix but im going to chock it up to new staff. Just swung by again in February of 2026 now that the construction is over and went around lunch time. The quality has definitely returned now that they had time to settle in. The bourbon chicken still reminds me of that good nostalgic mall Chinese food I loved growing up

Formerly inside Publix. This was our first time eating here. We chose takeout so we could eat during the race. The building face is being redone, so entrance is behind a protective wall. It looks like they haven’t finished decorating inside yet. There are a lot of tables if you want to eat in store. Staff is friendly and smiling. The food pans are shallow, so they are continually adding fresh cooked food to the line to choose from. Since we got it early it was placed in the fridge for a few hours before we reheated it. The #1 meal was plenty for each of us it came with 1 entree, rice or lo mein, and an egg roll. I didn’t get extra sauce on the bourbon chicken, and lo mein, it had really good flavor . may have even been better had I eaten it fresh. The sweet and sour chicken had a lot more sauce than expected (we were able to sample it before purchasing it.) My husband said the fried rice was best he has had in a long time. Egg rolls were good but should have eaten fresh for crispness. Will definitely be going back.

Chinese kitchen used to be in the Lake Miriam Publix and I was so excited to hear it’s now open in its own location in the same plaza. The food is delicious and of great quality. Friendly staff and plenty of seating. One of my top go-to Chinese restaurants.

This restaurant use to have decent service when located inside Publix prior to Lake Miriam Publix tear down rebuild. Now as a tenant in the shopping center the service is absolutely terrible – food is still same like mall chinese food (probably not as clean as when sharing kitchen facilities within Publix) regardless would highly recommend any other chinese restaurant located in any other shopping center. China Wok at Oakbridge is excellent.

I wish I could rate the food, but I showed up at 8pm to try them at their new location and even though they don’t close until 9pm, they’re already running a limited menu and are closing the store. Though to say if I’ll give them another shot. At this rate, I’d have to show up the day before an hope I can order ahead if I’m wanting a meal from this establishment.

Easily the best Chinese food in Lakeland. I recommend you get the bourbon chicken. At the moment the area has construction so it looks a little hidden but it is up and running.

Staff are friendly and quick, the place was clean and bright. However, there were not many food options, and what they did have was thick, saucy, and greasy. I got the lo mein with bourbon chicken and general chicken and an egg roll. It tasted good but made my stomach hurt from the sauce and grease.
