Great family restaurant. Not fancy decor but good reasonable prices and tasty food. Have had breakfast and dinner and enjoyed both. Great senior specials. Hash browns were well cooked.

Something for everyone. Mickey Mouse pancakes for our four year old, eggs Benedict/biscuits and gravy fusion, lemon pepper cod with vegetable. The prices are very reasonable and the service is exceptional.

We were on the road home to Minneapolis and looking for a “non-fast food” place to eat. Took a chance on this restaurant from Google Maps. Super friendly, menu options were great and breakfast and lunch items were available. We chose our own table and were greeted right away with menus and took our drink order. 3 of us had breakfast (egg skillet, ham and eggs and biscuits and gravy) all came out hot and was tasty. I had the Gyro meal, oh my…French Fries were hhhhot and lightly seasoned. If I could, i would have finished the fries. Definitely would return to Lake Mills again. Located in a small quaint town, you felt that people there frequented the place. 4 stars on Atmosphere….only because it was busy. But gosh, worth every penny!

FYI: the American fries are actually French fries rather than the sliced potatoes that some restaurants carry. It makes for a nontraditional breakfast if you accidentally ordered those for your side potatoes.

Very friendly. Excellent service. Catered to my very odd and specific order. It was perfection. Specifically Jessica was an excellent server. She knew what we needed before I even knew I needed it. Great family atmosphere.

Biscuits and gravy taste like it came from a packet or a can. Omelet was ok it was supposed to be ham bacon and sausage but it really only had ham in it. Hash browns were super hot
