The Lake House Restaurant has an absolutely stunning setting — easily 5 stars for environment and ambience. The lakeside view and peaceful vibe make it a lovely place to sit, relax, and spend time. Service was quite good (4/5) — attentive and polite staff.
However, the food was a major letdown (2/5). Most dishes lacked flavor and depth:
• Fish Tandoori – bland, no spice or smokiness.
• Paneer Tikka Multani – extremely bland.
• Veg Platter – Malayi Champ undercooked, overall flavorless.
• Dahi Kebabs – just okay.
• Paneer Tikka – again, okayish.
• Soups – Tom Kha Gai (Thai veg soup) was disappointing; Cream of Mushroom was the highlight — creamy and flavorful.
• Garlic Bread (served as condiments) – surprisingly, the best bite of the meal!
Desserts:
• Brownie with ice cream – soft, rich (4/5).
• Fruit Rabri – good.
• Churros with chocolate sauce & vanilla ice cream – first try, but just okay.
Drinks:
• Mocktail Orange – refreshing.
• Baileys Coffee Shots – excellent and highly recommended!
Bottom line: Visit for the view, vibe, and drinks, not for the food. If the flavors matched the atmosphere, this place would easily be a gem.

A nice culinary experience with a view. The Lake house restaurant is a gem offering a perfect blend of authentic north Indian and Chinese cuisine with stunning panoramic views of the lake.
Each dish was fresh and had decent portions. The real highlight is the breathtaking lake views with shimmering water and green lawns to provide a picturesque backdrop for the meal.
The staff are attentive, quick and ensure every detail is perfect.
The management needs to rethink strategy for underage smoking and drinking on the premises.

The Ambience of the restaurant is very good. The place is adjacent to the lake which is part of AIPL dream city.
Suitable for Both indoor and outdoor seating.
Food was tasty except the Galouti kebabs which were not authentic.
Loved Veg Manchurian, Chole Masala with Garlic Naan, and other chicken starters were awesome.
Pricing is justified based on the Ambeince and overall atmosphere of the place.

It was an excellent experience
Had tomato and veg Manchow Soup, Paneer sizzler and dal makhni with tandoori roti.
The portion size was huge, the taste was excellent and the quality was superb.
Would definitely be on my GOTO list!

A Beautiful Place for spending quality time near Ludhiana. The atmosphere is really good especially around the lake. One can take stroll along the lake & can bask in the sun in the lawns in winters.
You can enjoy food outside at various sitting locations facing the lake as well. A bar is also there inside. Food is not upto the mark in accordance with the prices but drinks & beverages are good options with some snacks.

Setup is nice with lakeside seating outside. They have seating inside as well. The atmosphere is only plus for them.

Word of caution for late night travellers is the isolated road leading to and from this place . Many upcoming places do not reserve tables . This is because it shows a ‘ partial culture ‘ .
