We found this little gem by the lake and are so glad we decided to stop in. The service, food, and ambiance were all absolutely wonderful. We happened to visit during happy hour, which made it even better — food was 50% off and drinks were discounted.

Everything we tried was incredibly flavorful. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and perfectly cooked. We also ordered the Mediterranean Platter and the Conch Fritters, and both were delicious. A fun touch is the little “bar truck” by the entrance where you can grab a drink before heading into the restaurant.

One opportunity for improvement would be offering alternative preparation options for some dishes. Many of the sides and appetizers are fried in peanut oil, which made it a bit challenging for us due to a peanut allergy. That said, our server Joe was fantastic — extremely attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and very helpful in guiding us toward safe options. We truly appreciated his care and attention.

Overall, we had a great experience and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a quick bite and a drink with a beautiful view

My lady and I had an incredible first experience at Lake House Bar & Grill, and we’ll absolutely be back.
From the moment you walk through the gates, it feels like you’ve stepped into a completely different world. The atmosphere is chill, relaxed, and welcoming. We were first greeted by a really cool antique-style bar with a cozy lounge area, but the real beauty is tucked inside by the water. The waterfront setting creates the perfect escape.
The appetizers were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can tell care goes into the food. The happy hour specials on both food and drinks are a huge win.
A special shoutout to our server, Joe. He was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable with the menu, especially when it came to my allergy restrictions. That level of attentiveness makes all the difference and truly elevated our experience.
Great vibes, great food, great service, and great value. We’ll definitely be returning.

I’ve been coming to Lakehouse for well over 10 years. I’m a full-time resident and Naples native, and I’ve introduced countless friends and even clients to this place over the years. It has always been one of my go-to weekend spots and a reliable staple on a beautiful Florida afternoon.

Unfortunately, today felt noticeably different.

We typically sit at the bar, and the usual bar staff was nowhere to be seen. The bartender who waited on us lacked attentiveness and personality, and the overall experience felt off from the start. My order came out in the manner I specifically requested it not come out as, and when I asked for the crème fraîche/sour cream and jalapeños that the menu clearly lists as included, the response felt almost irritated as though I was asking for something unreasonable.

Beyond the service, the food quality seems to have declined compared to years past. The onion rings were still solid, but everything else felt underwhelming, dry, and not flavorful, especially considering the noticeable increase in menu prices.

It’s disappointing. This has been a tried-and-true local favorite for a long time, and I’ve genuinely enjoyed recommending it. I hope they find their footing again, but for now, I’ll be taking a break.

Awesome outdoor seating in the shade , but you feel the breeze!
It recommends this place if you’re looking for laid back outdoor vibe!

Monday. January 12, 2026 3:45PM. Party of 4. We got there early to take advantage of their 50% off on food deal. There are also discounts on all drinks. Service started great but I did have to wait more than usual for 2nd drink. Food was excellent and we dined at a table overlooking the lake; very serene. My only real complaint is the automatic 18% tip added during happy hour. It is mentioned on their happy hour portion of the website but….who always reads the fine print. Additionally the tip amount showed on the bill (that I hardly look at-my bad) at the bottom. By the way the 18% goes to the full price of the items; not the discounted part. So “buyer beware” and I know it’s on me but I added more than 25% to the 18%. Oh well, live and learn. I would have liked the server to mention the 18% automatic tip before I paid.

We were in Bonita Springs for a business conference and tacked on a couple of days for fun. We went to Lakehouse for the atmosphere. The atmosphere was nice, very beachy. As soon as our server arrived it was awkward. She appeared ( my interpretation) to be in a hurry and not very welcoming.
Next my husband doesn’t like coleslaw. The meal he order was a fish entree with sides of slaw and fries. He asked to change the coleslaw for beans as he doesn’t like slaw. The server said they cannot swap out the slaw. OK. Then he says he’ll take the fish fried, but she said, “ they don’t fry Mahi Mahi.” My husband told her “your menu says fried is an option. “ server responded, “they won’t fry Mahi Mahi”. She did not acknowledge that he was correct the menu says that, she just repeated the same sentence, “ they won’t fry it.” He says fine grilled. She has the audacity to say, “you will like that better”. There wasn’t any empathy from her.
As it turns out the fish was very tasty. The fries were not good.
I had the chicken wings – they were okay for bar food. And we shared the firecracker shrimp. The shrimp were tasty but could have used a bit more fire.
I would not recommend this place unless you are at the pool and convenience is most important.

I really enjoyed the Lake House. Stopped in on a Saturday, happy hour 3-4:30. $1 off beer, $2 off drinks and food half price. I had the Pastrami Rueben, excellent with a big portion. Bloody Mary was just OK. If they had a killer Bloody Mary, I would be there every weekend. Nice atmosphere, bar service excellent. Highly recommend

Family invited us for dinner here. Enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake, outside seating was relaxing. Our female server was not very accommodating to us. Took her time getting back to take our orders. I had the Fish & Chips basket which was overcooked, sweet potato fries had no taste, oily and mushy, coleslaw was bad along with the tartar sauce. We asked our waiter for refills, more tartar sauce but never came back except for the bill. Definitely would not recommend eating here!

The Chicken Quesadillas was beyond disgusting. The chicken was so tough like it was over boiled and had a strange taste. I don’t get food sickness but I feel ill after trying to eat some of this being so hungry.

Excellent hidden gem. Ambience was perfect looking over the lake. Server was wonderful and patient. I had the grilled fish tacos. They were most excellent. My friend had a salad and it was perfect. We were there from 1 to 4pm. Drinks are a little spendy but happy hour is 2$off.
