My husband and I visited Lake Billiards for the first time yesterday. It is going to be the first of many visits. First, the food was really good. We tried the fried mushrooms and the jalapeño poppers for appetizers. Both were excellent. My husband also had a Reuben sandwich and said it was the best Reuben he’s had at the lake. We stayed for a few hours playing pool. There are several pool tables to choose from. They also have plenty of pool sticks and chalk. The bar is well stocked with both beer on tap as well as a good variety of other drinks. Finally, the staff was so friendly and the service was great. It was a great experience all around.

When I walked in I thought I found a good place to play some pool. In about 5 minutes I completely changed my mind. I don’t care if a pool table has some wear and isn’t perfect. When the flaps are coming up in the pockets I think it’s time for a little maintenance. I wanted to ask about taking the cover off of another table and get a couple drinks. I went to the bar where the bartender was, waited longer than I should have. She was too busy talking to friends about what shot they were all taking. So I left the bar and began uncovering the table. Then she wasn’t so busy to ask if I needed help. It’s pretty sad when a little bar with a couple pool tables can be at out a place with as many tables as this place has.

We stopped in for dinner and found a hidden gem!! The deep dish pizza had a homemade crust that was the best I’ve EVER had! The pizza was loaded with toppings and smothered in cheese. Absolutely PHENOMENAL! We had the chicken bacon ranch sandwich as well. It was delicious but ….. that pizza! Service was top notch. Beer was cold. People were friendly. Darts, pool, and sports on the TV. 5 out of 5. Couldn’t ask for more.

Went in here multiple times was harassed by owner because we left small tip on card and was planning on tipping rest in cash got called out and embarrassed along side that it being a sport bar/pool hall won’t allow 18 year olds in to play pool after 7:00pm. We had to buss our own table and go in to get our own refills and charging by the drink for refills on any drink besides water. Any other bar would give free refills and proper service on soft drinks as this is a popular place you would expect fair treatment.

Great atmosphere! Very nice place with lots to do, and plenty of room so you don’t feel confined. Tvs on almost every wall. Perfect place to watch the game or get involved in one. 6 dart boards 9 pool tables. Beer garden. Come check it out.

My husband and I ordered food from here to be delivered through Door Dash. The food was absolutely amazing. We ordered the Reuben, the Philly cheesesteak, and then had to also try the catfish. The food was perfect from the main dish to the sides. By the way, we have never found anywhere where the slaw, baked beans, AND potato salad are good. We hadn’t tried here before but will definitely add this as a location for our date night rotation and will check it out in person next time!

Went in kill some time and hit some balls. Owner and bartender were nice. It wasn’t busy when I went in, but I could tell it would be a fun place to be when it’s busy, especially for a pool player. The Diamond tables play as expected, but the table I played on could use a little work. The set of balls on the table weren’t from the same set and the table had a roll off, but those things are easy to fix. I plan on trying some food and would like to play on the snooker table next time I’m around.

Personally, won’t go back. The food was good. The new bartender was a sweetheart, but my jaw dropped when I saw my receipt. They charge waaaay too much for 1 bottle of beer and they charged me more for my meal that I ordered. Price was not correct on the menu.
The owner was completely rude because we had a baby in there. Only 2 other customers were there playing pool. They kept waving and saying hi to him as he roamed around with an adult with him at all times, but NEVER around the other 2 customers. The owner and chef were playing pool, and the owner rudely told us to keep him in the corner. I’d understand if it was busy. But this was directly irritating him trying to play pool, as the 7 of our party, at 7:45 are at his establishment, paying money.
