Excellent food. Perfectly cooked steaks. Drinks were a little bland and light and after spending 100 on steaks the extra 16 dollars to add mushrooms and onions was excessive. Overall good experience but the slightly higher than average cost and the early 90’s deco vibe brought it down one star.

Disappointed. Our party of 10 had reservations for 6 pm, we were not seated until 7 pm and it was 40 minutes before soup, salad & bread arrived. Another 40 minutes pass and we still didn’t have dinner. At 8:20 pm, we left before the food arrived so we had time to eat somewhere else before everything was closed. This restaurant is a prime candidate for Gordon Ramey’s Kitchen Nightmares for the absolutely despicable service.

Prime rib was wonderful! So were the cheese curd appetizers. They had a nice little twist on an old-fashioned with a special being a cherry flavored Windsor old-fashioned! Will definitely come back!

My wife and I had reservations to the Lake Aire Supper Club. We were pleasantly surprised by the roominess of the restaurant compared to the outside view. We love to visit supper clubs and the Lake Aire rates pretty high for the quality of the Mel served and the friendliness of the staff. We were immediately seated and were greeted by our server “Molly” who was attentive and very nice. My wife ordered a Moscato after debating on this or a Pinot Rose. Molly actually brought her a sample of the Pinot beforehand just to see if she would like it. That is a quality server! I had a Bloody Mary and it was very tasty. Our orders consisted of the Stacker Filet with twice baked potato and green beans with a salad with ranch and an order of Eye of Ribeye with baked potato and green beans and a salad with balsamic dressing. Both steaks had great flavor with perfect seasoning, the potatoes were cooked perfectly with my baked being salted and the green beans were crisp tender and very good. Our salads had great flavor and were prepared very well. Molly came around often to offer water, ask if our needs were met and to pick up any dishes. Dessert was a 7 layer cake with homemade creme and a very flavorful grasshopper. I can not complain on anything served or the staff or the supper club decor. Very comfortable restaurant that fulfills a niche in the Wisconsin food scene. Great job!

Waited an hour past our reservation time. Got seated and waited another 20 mins for waitress finally came for appetizer orders but no food. Finally took food orders but never brought drinks. After an hour we had to ask her about food. Came back and said 7 mins. Well that turned into over 15 mins. By this time all we wanted to do was leave. But we took our food that was Luke warm at best. So it was ready but not broujt out. Again she disappeared which was consistent the night. Asked for Bill and never came so went to hostess and she went and got it which was Hand written real quick. Rest of party was told not to pay and just go. So.. we went back in and asked for our money back as well. Had big attitude so I thanked her for that and for making the night even better. No communication with customers on time or waiting. Rest of our groups plans were ruined due to being so late. Never again. You lost a good group of people.

I’ve never had a bad meal here. The staff are attentive and the hosts friendly. The food is always cooked to perfection. Also, we had our wedding reception here, which worked very well.
