Cute homey restaurant. Small menu but everything we ordered was delicious. Everything is flavorful. Our favorite was Bún sườn cay (spicy pork rib noodle soup).

I had a great time at Lakako and the food was delicious! We got the calamari, spicy rib soup, and nem chua ran. We also got the mango passion fruit tea. Everything was really really good! The service was also great— the server was attentive and helpful. This place is a must-try and we’ll definitely be back!

My first time here and I’m obsessed! The vibes and all the little details made me feel like I was actually sitting in Vietnam. I ordered the spicy pork rib noodle and the fried fermented pork roll both were perfect. And the Vietnamese tea with boba? Amazing. Can’t wait to come back!

Tasty and delicately prepared Vietnamese food. The chao long is authentic and perfectly seasoned. The nem chua rán with its dipping sauce makes an excellent combination. The mì cay (level 3) is seriously spicy — it’ll make you blow fire! The bún đậu mắm tôm is definitely worth a try; the shrimp paste is delicious, though the blood sausage could be improved. Friendly and welcoming staff. We can’t wait to return!

mi cay is good but not flavored enough, it’s little bit too sweet and less topping, however it is okay.

tra dao cam sa, peach tea lemon grass was really good and from now on i’ll order it every time i come lol taste almost with the same one i have in vietnam back then.

nem chua ran is pretty good but the sauce wasnt our favorite so we prefer hot sauce next time lol we ordered 2 one for dine in and one for take out. they are awesome, i really like nem chua ran!!!

i didnt try chao long since they were for weekend only, but i will come back too try them next time!! they did a good job but hope in the future they can do more better with mi cay cuz i was too excited to try it

This cute restaurant gives off a fantastic, nostalgic vibe that brought back memories of an old house from the North VietNam, from pictures on the wall, lotus flowers. Im here for experience. Food is ok .

This place was amazing! As a Vietnamese person in America, I’m so glad I was able to find some authentic Vietnamese food that really focuses on quality! The place was a cozy vibe and the food matches that for sure. I ordered the Spicy Ramen and oh my goodness it was so good. Extremely glad my family and I tried it out. Got a new spot to go to now!

Both times I’ve been there, the food and service were excellent. You can really tell they put a lot of thought and care into every dish. The wait was absolutely worth it!

Went in early evening, solo, and quiet cafe. Gone with the expectations of Pho, however to a surprise they offered instead “SƯỜN CAY
SPICY PORK RIBS”; a slightly thicker rice noodle soup.
Presentation: Beautiful, it was a spicy clear broth soup ( ️ build your tolerance 1st), with good size of ribs
Taste: Spicy, however not painful though numbing . It was delicious reminds me of how it should be, with their personal touch
milk tea was whatever

I don’t even know where to start. I saw a TikToker review this place and they made it look so good, so I went in really excited and didn’t hesitate to try it. But honestly, the thirty minute wait wasn’t worth it for me.

Starting with the chicken rice, the rice tasted like microwave rice you’d get from Rite Aid and the chicken had a strange smell. I thought maybe it just wasn’t my taste, so I gave the mi cay a try. It was missing mushrooms which was disappointing, but the flavor was okay.

Then I patiently waited for the fermented shrimp paste tofu with vermicelli. The green fried patty was pretty good, but the rest was a disaster. They gave us one random leaf on top and a pile of cilantro underneath. I was like, are you kidding me?

On top of that, our table didn’t have chopsticks, napkins, or any condiments like other tables. We had to get the chopsticks ourselves.

Overall it just wasn’t a good experience and I don’t think I’d come back.
