My father is a regular here, but it was my first time visiting. I was really looking forward to their sopa de gallina india, but sadly, I was not impressed at all. The flavor was lacking, and the gallina, which was supposed to be asada, didn’t taste that way. Honestly, I’ve had better sopas de gallina elsewhere. The rice was a bit mushy and not the typical Salvadoran style. The fresco de ensalada was okay, though a bit too sugary for my taste. Even though the place was practically empty, we waited a good 20 to 30 minutes to get just two sopas.

Enjoyed Platos típico, food was good. Server took a while with drinks, coffee didn’t come until 3rd time I asked for it. The food took about an hour to arrive.
If service was faster I would rate higher but unfortunately it was not.

The service was extremely friendly and clean. You seat your self and you are greeted pretty promptly. The food was delicious. Great pupusas are hard to find. The masa was flavored perfect and the pupusas were soft and not overly greay. The pastelitos where made of beef and veggies and where not overly salty.

1st time eating here, pupusas are some of the best I’ve had. The platanos are also delicious. Definitely my go to spot now for pupusas…

Food is good only that the pupusas are a bit greasy and they over cook them I couldn’t even have a clean cut of how hard they were. The maracuya water is the best.

I was very pleased with my order of Guanico 2, which comes with 2 pupusas, a corn tamale, black beans and rice and a fried plantain. Great deal for $12.99.

I also got the ensalada drink, which was very tasty. I ordered horchata for my son, however neither of us were very fond of it.

But no complaints about the food. It was very tasty and I was full halfway through my plate.

It is a great place to have some authentic Salvadoran food. Well as far as I can tell since I’ve never been or ate Salvadoran food, lol! Promise its a great experience and quick vacation for a few hrs to have a bite. And few laughs with your partner, family or friends! Without leaving the country.

Extremely pricey. One pupusa alone is $5 and get ready to wait extensively. I had to wait like 20min just for one pupusa.
