Open and inviting. Great space to relax and enjoy some great coffee or food. Separate areas for kids to play. They have an interactive tables that charge your phones. They also have ps5s set up for the older kids/adults. Plenty of comfy seating. Owners are absolutely wonderful people who welcome anyone.

Decided to pop in while I was in the area and boy was I surprised when I walked in the place looks phenomenal!!! The staff was amazing and very helpful and decided to try the Knafeh with Nutella and a cup of Sahlab my first time trying both and they were very delicious. I was quite surprised with the flavor of the Sahlab and it’s something I’ll definitely be stopping in to grab again.

Me and my wife stopped here to try to coffee specifically. We loved the atmosphere as well as the customer service! We were greeted when we walked in, and they gave us a small tour of the place which offers game rooms for small kids and teens. The coffee was great, overall excited to have this new addition to South High Street!

Lailaty is a new addition to the South High food scene that features Egyptian cuisine and offers several video game options to keep the kids entertained while you wait for your food and beverages. Most everything is fresh made, so plan to wait a little while for things, but trust me, good things come to those who wait. The food is excellent. Their Qalbuzz (an Egyptian version of a chicken, beef or veg hand pie) will not disappoint and is highly recommended. The Tamoorger (falafel patty burger) is a good vegetarian choice, that also has carnivore add ons too. Their hummus has a nice olive oil drizzle and is solid. All the drinks are good with both traditional and Egyptian options (try the Egyptian). However, if you have ever been to a good North African/Mediterranean restaurant, you know the shining star is their bakery and Lailaty is no exception. They have a good selection with both savory and sweet options that are all homemade and delicious. Go all in and try the kunafa (trust me) and if you’re polite and patient, you might just get a date cookie, so be good, Lailaty also offers breakfast selections including a full Egyptian breakfast that serves 2-3 (we’ll be going back to try that….and a croissant). Service is good and they’re one of the only places in Columbus, other than some ramen shops, that use a robot to deliver food to your table. So go. Step out of your burger/chicken/taco comfort zone and try something new. The Southside desperately needs more variety, but we won’t get it (or keep it) if we don’t support it.

Went here with my wife and kids after church and it was fantastic! We ordered various authentic Egyptian dishes and they all were amazing! The Sahlab drink was so unique and delicious! They have a dedicated area for small kids and a separate area for big kids with PS5’s for them to play with. It gave me and my wife some quiet time to hangout. The owner and workers are so welcoming and sweet. Really great people… Oh and they have a robot that delivers your food to your table! I highly recommend Laillaty. We will most definitely return… Often!

Incredible, welcoming staff and a beautiful location! They were helpful in explaining what dishes they had, what some of the words meant and made an overall great experience. The little robot server was cute and they let us try out the arcade table for free for a bit! I brought some friends and ant wait to come back for breakfast and coffee.
