Reviews
Personnel very friendly. Speaking dutch and english.
Good ambiance
Super friendly staff. Unfortunately we had to wait some time, however we suppose this is normal since everything is coming fresh out of the kitchen.
Great place to come to eat (as a couple, with friends, with your family,… Any situation would fit perfectly here). Relaxing, inviting atmosphere.
We enjoyed the 3-course meal you can book via Groupon. Very grateful to have come to know this place on their website!!
The servings look small, but we were definitely satisfied at the end.
Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a really good (Halal) restaurant in Flanders
Overall, the entire food experience was amazing, and I would definitely recommend Desi Food to anyone who enjoys authentic and tasty desi cuisine.
We were really disappointed.
Food tasted bland.
Always go for Jalfrezi and have never been in an Indian restaurant where it seemed like they ran out of spices.
We ordered extra garlic naan, which was the nicest out of everything.
Unfortunately we were still hungry..
So we don’t recommend this place due to portion size and taste
Our order took a good 30mins to come.
But the food was very good.
Highly recommend the tandoori chicken and the chicken masala curry.
The lemon ginger drink was also nice.
All their meats are halal
Good to connect with the heritage of Indian cuisine.
I particularly liked the customised napkins for cleaning hands, the ambiance and the best beats of Indian music.
