Came in at 330pm to face a really rude Chinese lady who yelled at me and my wife while we were looking for a table: ONLY TO GO ORDERS!!!!! I CLOSE AT 4!!!!!!, last we checked, online hours and Google maps hours clearly says closing at 5pm. Also the very colorful and bright “OPEN” sign outside was ON.
I don’t appreciate rudeness or being yelled at by anyone. So we did not respond, so me and my wife just looked at each other and walked out.

Honestly this place is overrated!! The lady owner is extremely rude. I explained to her what I wanted and she gave me something totally different. I was like ok whatever but wanted to get clarification on how to order next time and she was like “Next time don’t come here” like if I even want to return lol. And the worst part they only take cash I guess they don’t want to report their earning to the IRS to avoid taxes.

BOMB authentic Chinese food. I’ve been coming here for 20+ years and it never disappoints. Many people who love LAI LAI have been coming for years and personally know and love the owner. It’s worth waiting for if you go inside and eat please be patient as it is a small business. It is worth all the wait.
